Lived in the UK for 3 years, and it is by far my favourite city in England.
That being said, the place can be really hectic at night and the amount of people offering/doing drugs is just insane, but that's most of the UK as a whole. I'd never before seen as many laughing gas canisters as I did when I went out in Liverpool on a weekend.
