Yeah, Mexican and black gangs pretty much want to wipe each other out. I lived in LA for a bit, and the highest homicide rates were black and Mexicans killing each other; you never hear about it on the news or anything, but the violence and hatred between the two is absolutely brutal. Mexicans who live normal lives and aren't involved in crime could care less and pay no attention to the blacks, but the blacks seem to hate all Mexicans no matter what because they were 'in the country first' and believe they have more entitlement to support/welfare from the government.
