Are the Mexican people on drugs? This is insane. I would lose if Marijewauns became legal in my state.

This is the only way to end with the cartels

no, but they should be
destroy nanny states NOW

Is the decriminalization AMLO is talking about likely to happen? I don't really understand how Mexican politics work.

I don’t believe that ALL drugs should be decriminalized, but we should have much better rehabilitation programs (and health policy in general) regarding them. And more importantly the penalties for being in possession of drugs should be something like minor fines to required rehabilitation at worst. Getting 20 years for being in possession of a graham of marijuana is fucking ridiculous.

Decriminalization is different from legalization.

Yeah I messed up my terminology there, sorry.

if alcohol's legal then weed should be too IMO

>Mexico wants to jeopardize the CIA and FBI's income streams
Interesting

weed is legal
only $40 for 3.5 grams from the government store

libertarians have been advocating this for the last 50 years. you guys are slow.

>$20 per gram in colorado

This.

But sectors of the USA, and U.K. will probably vouch against it, using evangalical preachers for the masses, for exemple, and other cults, because that would legitimate a foreigner export from the LaTam.

They are decriminalized.

Good for you.

All drugs should be legal, subjected to quality control like other consumer goods, and taxed like tobaco to cover their burden on the public healthcare system.

Yes hes serious as fuck. Not like rest of the at least the 70 years ago

That's pretty cool. Maybe we'll see some real change in our lifetimes.

This will reduce crime, but the society will fall. Just remember to exclude drug users from public healthcare. They asked for it.

First it will end the cartels ,but the Kids are the problem, imagine a child use weed accidentally....

That’s really the biggest issue. I don’t mind people making personal choices with their body, but not if it jeopardizes those immediately around them (i.e. kids in smoker households are at a higher risk of developing lung cancer).

No.

what's wrong with children using weed? some of my friends started smoking weed in high school and they're all fine.

No. The government knows that if they decriminalized drugs everyone would die of overdose because there's no dose high enough to make living in this shithole bearable.

Are you stupid?

Drug users are already in the public healthcare. LOL.

Also

No, you guess how it is with a shengen country like Netherlands nearby

good luck convincing republicans

pot is kind of legal here, you can join a cannabis club and buy weed legaly, about 7-10€ per gram

intelligent posts. resistance and regulation will not solve the issues. more people might actually seek help if it were legal. as well as being safe to use

The one good thing AMLO is gonna do
Gud luck

if you even imply that there are drugs in the vicinity in front of the cops, even if there aren't any, they will fuck you up.

Unironically this.

Drugs should only be decriminalized for people like me, an intellectual, who use them responsibly as a tool for self-development and educate themselves on the pharmacology of said substances and any risks contained therein
