Trump tossed aside last year the agreement Obama made with Iran saying it was too soft and just kicked the can down the road. Iran has since started making threat's to restart it's nuclear program and close the gulf strait. Both sides are at odds in many areas. Iran in Yemem, Iran's Hezbollah in Syria, Irans influence and militias in Iraq. Somebody sabotaged oil tankers yesterday. The US say's it was Iran, people that hate America (alot of Reddit posters) say it's a false flag by America. Now civilians are being told to leave Iraq from what it looks like threats from Iraqs Iranian allied militia's. It's looking more and more like war simply because both sides are so polar opposite and stubborn.

it's a long story but basically they hate each other because they both have ambitions of being regional hegemon and foreign powers keep throwing gasoline on the fire.

What is Turkey's stance on this?

Can it escalate to full war?

matter of fact they are fighting proxy wars all over, Saudis (backed by western subhumans such as the yanks and the french) are fighting a particularly bloody turf war in North Yemen against the shia population there which is backed by Iran.
both countries are looking to boost their military apparatus now but obviously the Saudis have easier access to better technology while Iran is pretty isolated and has no air force.

this would be the most advisable course of action but there's too strong a powers meddling in the area, Iran obviously got extremely butthurt at the US and Israel for what they did and you can't really blame them, with that disappeared a very good opportunity to deescalate tensions in the regions which took 20 years to materialize, now God know what the fuck will happen and if there is anybody with the influence and power necessary to play the mediator.
