I checked on the facts of this video.
Traveling from Sao Paolo to Rio takes roughly 30 minutes longer than from Munich to Berlin and both are roughly the same distance.
Surely while the route here connects like halft the country it only connects those two major cities and in between isn't much.
So just from usage our route has a bigger impact and propaby came at a lower cost. Still the delay propably came from a lower speed limit.
So the infrastructure between the big cities in Brazil is surely not this bad.
Also Austria ot Switzerland are both countries well developed and basically just mountains.
Here Austria is an exception since it's major area actually is rather flat lowlands around Vienna.

In general analyzing Brazil is interesting. Infrastructure comes the more expensive the bigger a country is. The costs increase further though difficult terrain and their effects sinks with a low population density.
This alone shall not mean that Brazil can't develop. It just takes a bigger effort.

Almost 100% of our politicians doesn't care about the people. They only do things for the people if it'll benefit themselves. And it's not uncommon they'll do things to benefit themselves regardless if the people will be fucked up. We don't protest normally. And when we do, nothing good come out of it. Because politicians just don't give a fuck.

Some might have saw this tatic, but the mutts had established the dictatorship, so even if they knew something was going on, what could they do? To say just one example, the highest instance of our judiciary, the supreme court, is filled with pieces of shit who instead of showing their worth and justice and becaming a minister of the supreme court by merit, they can not EVEN PASS THROUGH THE LAWYERS EXAM and be there. Shit like this happens in all of the three powers, we are hostages to corruption.

The police doesn't allow peaceful sit in. It always ends in confrontation (started by cops/infintrated cops).

Truck drivers make strikes sometimes, but it's only because of the price of gas or shit like that. It's very effective, because people start starving without food. Other kinds of strikes aren't effective, because our Supreme Court doesn't allow it for too long.
