Do any of you guys keep a journal?
Do any of you guys keep a journal?
Im starting to take notes on one. Since despite being 18, I can't remember jackshit of my life. I actually fear I'll have memory problems later in life.
never really did that. i did start a dream journal 4 months ago though, ive logged 65/70 dreams in pretty good detail. im remembering my dreams alot easier now and ive had a few nex level dreams since i started it. if you like dreaming i suggest keeping a journal of it.
no
I used to. It's a good habit to sort out your mind, problem, etc. and make yourself mentally stable.
I wish I started sooner. It feels pointless to start logging your thoughts and life when you're old.
I think it's never late. May I ask you how old you are? I’m 35 years old by the way.
no because I'm not an interesting person nor do I want to write about myself

You are young enough to start anything.
Basically this, I take so many notes about so many things that it's basically a journal I guess. I have notes about everyone, even the people I met a single time: their face, their habits, hobbies, family, age. That way when I meet them again I remember who they are and what they like to talk about + it tickles my autism to not have everything written down. For instance yesterday I spilled my pen box behind my desk and had to write a todo: "pick up the spilled pens behind desk" and set the due date to 2 hours.
hi
Hello, I am not this guy though.
The pictures i take and save with my phone and the messages i send to people gathered together serve as a journal but its not very effective
thanks bro-san
What do you people use to take notes? I'm currently using 2 apps: iA writer and writer P. Because they allow me to create folders freely. But neither of them allow me to attach images and videos.
I kinda do the same as you, but not to such an autistic extension.
But I also, use it to write my thoughts, expectations, etc.
>be me at 20
>"I'm too old for this"
>be me at 25
>"I wish I had started at 20, I'm too old for this now"
>be me at 30
>"I wish I had started at 25, I'm too old for this now"
>...
In a couple years the same will probably repeat. It's a recurring theme in my life and pretty stupid desu
I'm 31. Started journaling this year. Use Google docs. Can't believe I had never done this before. It doesn't have to be elaborate. Just small pointers to guide you and keep record. It has helped me immensely.
Using digital devices is convenient. But I prefer good old paper and pen.
What for?
A therapist made me have one, to write down my bs and to re-read it regularly. Made my mental health spectacularly worse.
I'd love to do so, but digitally is the only way I can have any privacy.
I have nothing to write about I'm a shutin
I used to write down my dreams, starting from in 2015 but stopped sometime early last year. I should start again though. I have some cool dreams, also some nice sex ones.
Write about your thoughts, what you did on the internet, the weather, etc.
I'm pretty much NEETing this year, since I couldn't get on the college I wanted to, so I write about what I study, hobbies, my expectations about animes I want to watch, or opinions about what I just watched. Yada yada.
It doesn't need to be anything incredible, it just need to be about something you care.
My thoughts are borderline schizophrenic, if anyone found it I would be put in an institution
Use iA writer like me user, you're able to set up passwords for the app.
If that isn't enough for you, hide the app, use a 3rd party password app, and then create a 10 digit binary password code out made out of folders combinations.
Sorry for the late answer user, had to take care of my newborn dog puppy.
Or maybe you could use Gmail, Google docks or something like that.
