Why add that first part about the sun at all? Not only is it factually wrong as the earth's rotation around the axis means it's not always the same point, but the point you're trying to make is sufficiently (and correctly) portrayed by the "farthest from the Earth's core" part.

Well it is the closest point to space is what I mean, maybe I shouldn't have said it
