When I lived in Japan I ate raw chicken, it was pretty crazy that it's safe to eat it. It would be suicide in America.

Hm it tastes meaty? It's usually salted and well peppered. I like it with raw onions. But I haven't eaten it in a looong time.
It's a stereotypical office food, too, as in you get like a couple of pounds of Mett and bread rolls for your colleagues and then have a Mettfrühstück (Mett being the seasoned ground pork and Frühstück meaning breakfast).

Some people here eat chicken sashimi. But it's still dangerous even in Japan. Lots of people suffer from food poisoning after eating raw chicken here.
