How free is internet in your country? I'm tired of Roskokokonadzor. What countries are the best for noliferish internet users?

What I need:
-Internet must be cheap and speedy
-No fines for using torrents
-No censorship (for example in Russia they forbid you to discuss suicide, in Germany like half of youtube is blocked for no reason, etc)
-No laws about "hate speech" or "hurting someone's feelings" so you can insult (and be insulted by) anyone
-No intentions to ban anonymousity on internet

There are zero laws about the internet here.

just play your counter strike for 1 hour and be happy

I thought about Latin America but what about internet speed and cost?

Fuck, what is wrong with most of the world anyway?

youtube isnt blocked anymore for a while, the issue has been resolved

>Internet must be cheap and speedy
It's expensive and speedy
>No fines for using torrents
Check
>No censorship (for example in Russia they forbid you to discuss suicide, in Germany like half of youtube is blocked for no reason, etc)
We almost have no censorship afaik.
>No laws about "hate speech" or "hurting someone's feelings" so you can insult (and be insulted by) anyone
Discrimination and insults are illegal here, but nobody follows it lol.
>No intentions to ban anonymousity on internet
Check. It's even illegal for ISP's to scan your traffic here.

Looks like ISPs are getting ripped off by unfair government policies in most of the world.

>-No laws about "hate speech" or "hurting someone's feelings" so you can insult (and be insulted by) anyone

bad news pal, unless you want to live in a 3rd world country your options are limited to the US.
Pretty sure they will ban it soon too, within 10 years or so.

In the Netherlands the copyright lobby can't get the names behind IP addresses, because the ISP's refuse to tell them.
And an IP address isn't tied to a specific person.
The official stance of the copyright lobby is that they don't go after downloaders or small uploaders, but only against organized uploaders and the torrent sites themselves.

Depends on your standards.

What will happen if someone comments some news with something like "we should ban all immigration, Muslims are crazy, fuck Allah"?

Nothing. We have multiple parties that want to ban immigration (especially from Muslims countries). A lot of people say Muslims are crazy. And insulting a religion isn't a crime.
Although legally it's better to say that the Islam is a fascist ideology than to say Muslims are fascists.

But there is very little political correctness in the Netherlands. People constantly insult Muslims and especially Moroccans.

Sounds really good

Insulting the King is also pretty much the only speech crime that actually lands you in prison. If there happens to be a police officer nearby irl.

Discrimination and even calling for violence might just get you a fine if people file police charges and there is lots of media attention, so they actually have to pretend to care.

I think the most recent case I remember was when thousands of people started raiding the Facebook of a black politician, calling her a monkey and so on, using their personal Facebook account. And then she filed police charges. And the media was all over it.

So the police picked the few worst ones and fined them.

That image is meaningless because it doesn't provide average bandwidth and data allowances for the respective coutries. For example, Australia and the USA may be in the same category but what is considered a standard modern connection in the USA isn't even available in Australia. Basically, the image represents a monetary value but without any meaningful values attached.
Being able to assess graphs and understand data must be one of those skills people are either not taught or lack the intelligence to grasp. The internet is flooded with these sorts of meaningless infographics

One person got community service.
>Twenty-two people were charged with harassing the politician, Sylvana Simons, though she said in a complaint that she had received abusive comments from 40,000 internet users
lol

I reckon culling boomers who post retarded shit on Facebook would be a great social service for any country, desu. Australia needs something like this, get rid of all the greedy old rich cunts and the pollies who pander to them in one fell sweep.

She's an anti-discrimination protestor who's against black pete.
And that's a sensitive issue in the Netherlands.
It's like as if someone who claim Santa Claus is racist.

And people genuinely get upset (and even violent) when you protest against black pete.
The Dutch police also has a long track record of arresting people who are against black pete in public lol.
