Music is Jow Forumsernational

Hey, Jow Forums let's share some native musical pieces an outsider would never stumble upon.
We've had them before, and each time some very peculiar songs popped up.
Here are my entries:

Constantin Stupin - The Time of Bells
youtu.be/6SV3LLjHjAA
A very niche countryside artist(He passed away in 2017 from lung cancer) sings a song of an even more niche syberian artist who passed in mid-XX century

The Largest Prime Number - We got everything
youtu.be/yp79jg3UVRM
Another niche group with a niche song

I also got this weird thing, it comes from a band that tried very hard to imitate western rock bands, but sometimes they'd do something different. Here is an attempt at doing a Tom Waits impression

Everyone knows about Laibach but here's a lesser known related act: youtube.com/watch?v=aPRc8NtIlmE

Some 80s post punk:

A 90s classic from the coast: youtube.com/watch?v=EGRaoe6vODU

Pretty good. I don't know much about Israeli music, but my good friend once shared some Svika Pick songs.

Some russian ska in exchange. Loved yours, probably will download it from yt, apparently they have no other accessible sources.

As far as I remember, I got some of their stuff on partis.si, a Slovene tracker

This guy is actually from my hometown, and he is a house music prodigy

Some of the findings from previous threads:

Cuban... something, not really sure what genre it is:

Chili rock:

Sheeeit, it's catchy as fuck. What's it about?
It religiously refuses to send me a verification email. Guess I gotta stick to yt.

It might take a while

Now it just redirects me to google. Too much trouble, honestly.

I used to learn french in highschool, and absolutely despise it as a speaking language to this day. However, french songs are some of the best in the world.
Jaques Brel is awesome, Stromae is awesome, Edith Piaf is absolutely fantastic.

As for the french side I'd like to talk about post-punk. La Grande Triple Alliance Internationale de l'Est is akin to the Dada movement, it's a collective united by its aesthetics and members and nobody really knows who is part of it or not. Several artists are the driving force behind it such as Nafi or Seb Normal , as they are in like half the bands that pop up in this nebulous niche from the french far east.

Really the best unknown part of french music in the past decade imo (reposting cause bad link)

Also a lot of these songs aren't in french ; some albums are even nonsensical like these

Second one is german gibberish and first one I got no clue what it is

Velvet Underground is easily the most important band in the history of rock music

sappy country music

I just lived in Bhutan for half a year, I assume no one knows the music from there.

Kitschy music:
(both in Dzongkha, the official language)
youtube.com/watch?v=2ucK_4Xg5JM
youtube.com/watch?v=8MueyTMuIAo

Nicer but still generic pop songs:
(in Dzongkha)
youtube.com/watch?v=O0dly5rzm3s
(in Sharchop, the majority language)
youtube.com/watch?v=-cai4Mv6ox4

Local rap music:
(in Dzongkha)
soundcloud.com/kennybht/droba-lomdha-mnm-kenny
youtube.com/watch?v=mJsw1o9AKgA
(in Sharchop, this guy ran a small political party during the last elections)
youtube.com/watch?v=X3OUV5cDlfs

Besides local Bhutanese music, some Tibetan songs are popular there:
youtube.com/watch?v=-KwEzWIfl9s
youtube.com/watch?v=xRGTQaCbbnw

However, apart from Western music, Indian music is most popular.
On the one hand, modern Bollywood songs such as
youtube.com/watch?v=kd5KqlmcHNo
youtube.com/watch?v=ROtv13CqjzU

But also more classic Bollywood songs
youtube.com/watch?v=af9RjcwwDCE
youtube.com/watch?v=x_elT6zkqN0

Appalachian folk music
youtube.com/watch?v=sI839zz3L8U
>youtu.be/ZO1SGvFSgZQ

Some of these have been posted before but I think Resian folk music deserves to be listened to more.

It's a shame, I've had trouble with that as well and I had to register a couple of times because I always forgot about seeding. As far as I know, that's the only place you can find albums from Pridigarji. They've got some good stuff, although a lot is lost if you don't understand Slovene because all their lyrics are humorous.

You're the one who posted under the Bhutanese flag here? Interesting, I'll give these a listen.

>You're the one who posted under the Bhutanese flag here?
Yes, I was. Currently back home, hope to return there soon for a few more years. Not easy though.

Very cool and kulturny post

Some more beautiful folk music:
Irish
youtu.be/wFUTHcjiZGo
And Australian

This is really weird. It reminds me of absolutely cursed russian psy-warfare music that fries your brain if you listen to more than one song, Dvar.
youtu.be/7J5JMJ0JHx4

One of the most popular songs from my country!

I wonder where does indian/tibetian love for autotune come from. Aside from 'murica, I've never heard any musical industry abuse that poor program to such a degree. Literally every other song has some vocals pitched and altered to the point you can't even make out if it's a man or a woman singing. Why?

Pretty cool. I remember when I was listening too much to dub the heavy bassline started to fuck with my brain, felt like I lost IQ
