Judging by your flag I'm gonna guess this is a tranny. Fuck off gyppo

not really
it is not really useful either

español es la lengua oficial aquí

The dude is clearly mentally ill and the spic keeps egging him on and on.

No, they speak castillian

It's so ridiculously biased you just know it's theirs. The implication that Spanish isn't the first language in any region of Spain, including León, Asturias and Huesca is particularly hilarious.
The implication that Spanish and Castilian are the same thing is also an oldie but a goodie.

Never

only after watching telenovelas.

No, we speak a random amerindian lenguage.

please be a girl

i wouldn't call what chicanos speak spanish

>Spanish and Castilian are the same thing is also an oldie but a goodie
It literally is. What are you, a sudaca?

It's a pretty old gif, made by anglos. It's also very accurate.

Why would spanish be spoken in regions that weren't even owned by castille??
Even in the 18th century, 99% of the Galician population spoke galician, not Spanish

He probably thinks Spain was made by God himself or some shit like that. Fucking brainlets I swear.

>Why would spanish be spoken in regions that weren't even owned by castille??
>Galicia
Part of the Crown of Castile since 1230 :^)

Fucking illiterate subhuman.

Was referring to present time, thus present tense. Regardless, 99% is a huge overstatement and the overlap between Galician Leonese and Castillian was such even in the XIII century that in English (and Spanish too) it would be perfectly correct to call them dialects.
Spanish was "made" including linguistic traits from all over the peninsula, including Basque.

>Basque.
Wasn't the Basque half docen of different dialects untill the XIX century?

and known to have galician as the majoritary language until the latter half of the 20th century
it was only in the 15th century that the c*stillian menace took control of galician burocracy and implemented castillian nobles, but even in those dark years 99% of galithians spoke their language just like they did for centuries, or because they simply didnt know castillian

>99% is a huge overstatement
no its not
there wasnt mass migration from other regions into galicia, what event would make galicians speak a foreign language? most of them were poor farmers that lived in the same region for centuries, the region even had to use translators because back then galician was less similar to castillian

I have a book in my hands about the history of my city, in Galician, wrote by nationalist leaning progre, full of historical quotes. The majority are in Spanish no matter what period in time you open it at.

>there wasnt mass migration from other regions into galicia
In fact the last 300 years there was a mass depopulation of Galicia, some of them moved to other parts of Spain and most of them to America, nowadays it is in the same shit, region of retirees mostly, few niggers working in the shipyards and fishing too

what book? post sauce
ironically most BNG members and other regionalists have a castillian accent while speaking galician so it sounds like a very fake version of galician, just like the artificial shitty galician that PP or TVG members use.
Spain always favored other regions and forgot about Galicia...

they fucked Asturias more, it is where the industry should be and now look at them, they can't even mining there, also Malaga, the first industrial town in Spain and now a shithole for tourists

>they can't even mining there
its not spain's fault that coal is an outdated industry, they should have diversified
>Malaga, the first industrial town in Spain and now a shithole for tourists
malaga was industrial? i thought the main industrialization areas were in northern spain

yes... I'm physically five counties away from the "Capital of Latin America"

seems like the train and the proximity with france (europe) was the main reason catalonya and basques got rich while the rest of spain stayed poor....
