I am an irrational francophobe. I quite simply hate France and french people as a whole.
I feel utter contempt for their mentality, culture and idiosyncrasies. I speak French and I feel their language is utter garbage.
I am biased against french intellectuals. I refuse to read Camus or Sartre out of hatred towards the french. I feel that the basic premises and cultural values that underpin french culture are so corrupt, shallow and obnoxious that I find it hard to believe that any modern french man or woman could produce anything of value.
However, my bias does not extend to french people before the French Revolution. For example, I admire Descartes and Montesquieu. Neither does my bias extend towards French scientists and mathematicians. I admire Poincare, Fourier, Laplace, Fermat.
In short, I think Northern European cultures are utterly superior (particularly those of Germanic and Anglosaxon origin).

It's irrational. I understand this.
I mostly detest modern France. I feel it is such a shallow and stupid culture.
Let me give you some examples of what bothers me:
- I feel that the French language and culture are too flowery and filled with superfluous decorative elements. Everything is about appearance and nothing about actual substance.
- I feel french people are thoughtless and inconsiderate. They are noisy, self-centered, lazy and undisciplined.
- The essence of the average french person is void. They lack the depth and transcendental outlook of Germanic and Anglosaxon cultures.

>They lack the depth and transcendental outlook of Germanic and Anglosaxon cultures.
I can't respect people who claim to hate another people but then make exceptions for those who are impossibly to discredit like you did with esteemed scientists. I often hear people saying they hate Germans because this and that but of course they don't hate Bach or Beethoven. Then they make up excuses why those are exceptions. It's simply dishonest.
>However, my bias does not extend to french people before the French Revolution It's called being a reactionary.

I'm not presenting a coherent world view, nor have I ever pretended to do so.
I am merely describing an irrational feeling. I do not defend my feeling. I do not justify it.
I feel that the intellectuals which I have mentioned above have an essence which is different from that of the average french person. I suppose it would make sense given how unique they are as beings. But as I said, It is a feeling, not a rational world view.
Ryder Powell
I went hiking in the Alps with some Swiss (french side) they said the exact opposite of your feelings.
Is it a common though in your cunt ? Hating France and the French ? or Wanted to be French and in France ?
My two hiking-fellow (mother and a daughter maybe 50 and 30 years old) wanted to be french, because they were ashamed of Switzerland and its politics with the internationals affairs, dictators etc.
William Cruz
Your hatred for France is actually quite rational if you were to construct its premise on a colonial basis. France has broken a plethora of international laws in order to keep its economy afloat, not to mention it’s agression in antiquity.
My mother is quite literally a French immigrant and I even speak French, but I too hate France.
Austin Butler

Isaac Lee
I don't know how common this feeling might be, I don't speak about it in public.
I suppose it might be a bit different depending on the Canton. I suppose German-speaking Cantons might have a greater propensity to dislike french people and foreigners in general. I guess that the more rural a Canton is and the further away it is from Switzerland's international borders, the more xenophobic its people will tend to be.
Generally speaking, it is a well-known fact that Swiss people have a tendency to dislike foreigners. We recently voted in favor of limiting all immigration to Switzerland and the most popular party here is an anti-immigrant and anti-European party. I suppose this might not be unique to Swiss people, particularly nowadays .
And you are living with your family in the us now ?

>They are noisy, self-centered, lazy and undisciplined. This is true at the very least. The yellow vest movement is all of this embodied. Ironically this happened only months after Macron was criticized for saying that the "stubborn Gauls" are less likely to accept reforms than the "Lutheran Danes". The French whined that this was proof of Macron's contempt for the common people, then proved him right months later. And I bet the fuckers aren't even aware of the irony.
Thomas Hall
What bother me with the yellow vest is that they aren't radical enough, I want to see rich cunts and politicians suffer
Evan Cruz
No one shall insult the French except us
Austin Nelson
>I want to see rich cunts and politicians suffer And then what? Magically your debt, spending problem and unemployment will disappear? Because half the rich are dead and the other half have fled to countries where they aren't hated for their success?
Your mindset is no exception in your country and that's why your country will never again matter. You could've been a second Germany but you've opted to become a second Italy.

The Yellow Vest are doing nothing, except the Boxer of Massy and this one time at the Arc de Triomphe.
Those who attack the cops and burn everything are the traditionals black blocks and antifa, but every western country had this kind of balls-less "gang".
And when you learn that the majority of the Antifa are from the rich class....yeah, i think the Yellow Vest should fight against the Antifa.

You see? This is an additional thing that I find irritating about the French. They tend to be pseudo-communist peasants.
They hate working, they envy the wealthy and all they can do is strike and protest.
Lazy and stupid. You are not entrepreneurial, nor frugal, nor forward-thinking, nor ambitious.
You are backward peasants awaiting to lynch anyone with higher ambitions. You are mediocre, so you seek to make everyone else mediocre. That's your cultural tendency.
Hunter Martinez
Do you lack basic reading comprehension or are you THAT angry? It's not contempt when what he's saying is not only true, but the truth of his statement is proven less than half a year later.
This. It's hard to believe that we're talking about the same country that produced Say, Bastiat, Constant and the Physiocrats. Hell, it's even harder to believe that this is the country that gave the world the term "laissez-faire".

I think i understand what both of you are saying and i will give you some news that a some historians/sociologue and writers writed about the French people with their observations during the 5Th republic.
They are all saying that the French are a Monarchist People, they need and want a strong leader with dignity and legitimity. But this leader/monarch/emperor/stronger president MUST be working for the french interests and only the french one.
And it's incompatible with the liberalism and with the European Union.
Btw i think they are write, except the fag and the leftard, every french have a lot of respects for Louis XIV/Napoléon 1er and Charles De Gaulle.
Thoses three french, where strong leader.
Louis XIV is the "Absolute Monarchist" "The Sun King" 'Le Roi-Soleil".
Napoléon 1er is The Empereur. It's simple but it's big.
Charles De Gaulle is the "Père de la Nation", Father of the Nation.
And everybody love those guys.
