I double-majored in neuroscience and anthropology. Do bear in mind that if you want a career even remotely pertaining to the latter, you'll need at least a master's--and even then, opportunities are scarce and competitive. You're best off focusing on GIS if you're not interested in a PhD.

that is what im debating, I can go to regular physical anthro (and all its other smaller forms) and do archaeology (which sounds interesting as fuck but the pay is god dam shit) or go forensic anthropology which I think the pay is better but sounds a lot like my old jobs being too tedious. I don't know, but then again I'm graduating from uc berkeley, im hoping the name recognition will get me some interesting jobs.

Yeah. Again, it's easier to find more pertinent employment with a PhD rather than a master's. I'm not as familiar with forensic anthropology, but I believe job opportunities are a bit more scarce than you might expect. However, it's not necessarily tedious or boring, unless your end-game is working as a consultant for a police laboratory. IIRC, one of my former professors did the brunt of his doctorate in Hawaii, exhuming and helping to identify the remnants of unknown soldiers from WWII.
