For a long time we had a cuisine that consisted of fake coffee and tree bark bread. Most of our repertoire is Swedish and is called Swedish in recipe books. Our unique dishes are mämmi (you need to eat it with cream) and karelian pie.

For an average german day it would be muesli or cereal for breakfast; boiled potatoes, cabbage, pork for lunch; brown bread with ham for dinner. German food is horribly bland.

It's like a thing that's 90% crust because you wrinkle its top so much and then you load a fat load of smashed egg and butter on top of it, it's pretty good but nothing special. It mostly tastes like crust, egg and butter. I'd rather have something that contains tomato instead.

Meh this is pretty common among Germans I would say and you guys definetly overdo it on the culinary memery. We like hearty stuff that makes you fed like Schnitzel, Döner, Goulash. We make an exception for Italian cuisine because its just that good
