Is it common for normies to still have desktop PCs in their homes in your country?
I have recently noticed how most people just have a cheap laptop or a tablet or even just their smart phone for their computer needs now. It makes sense rather than having a corner dedicated to a big ugly computer for most people but it seems odd, it is a pretty big change that has happened without most people noticing.
I have a computer I’ve built but I don’t even really play games anymore, I just hate the tiny form factor of a laptop, I have big hands and those keyboards suck

No, I don't think so. They're common im schools and workplaces, but I don't remember seeing one at somebodys home in a long time. Unless you need lots of computing power or need one for ergonomy, you don't really need one.

Computers are for epic pc gaymers or boomers. Most normies and zoomers just have a laptop or even just a tablet or phone and that's all.
You have no real reason to own a desktop these days unless you intend to use it for heavy gaming.
Actually i noticed this a long time ago.
I mean most people had slow desktops anyway, so the switch to a slow laptop is not noticeable. To me the comfort of a desktop is simply unrivaled, triple screens, comfy chair, ergonomic table
Usually in movies and porn i keep paying attention to see if i will spot a desktop, surprisingly enough i was watching Cold Pursuit yesterday and Liam Nesson is shown using a desktop with a 32 inch monitor. In promateur porn those where the guy casts the porn girls i often see desktops, they probably use it to edit the videos and those promateur girls that sell their videos usually have Imac.
Smartphone screens just make me dizzy, i can't even use one for more than 1 hour.
Any amount of serious work requires a desktop. Dealing with huge excel files on a laptop? No thanks.
Depends on the age demographic, I only have time for the occasional turn based strategy game before I fall asleep so I'm fine with a laptop.
I never met anyone in my life who completely replace desktop pc or laptop with tablet and smartphone. How is it even possible? I understand its popular but it really uncomfortable to use a tablet instead of laptop for example unless you are traveling or something like that

Most people's computing consists of facebook and youtube which a phone or tablet can handle fairly well. I am 28 and watching my zoomer nephews type on a touch screen is crazy

Normies just use the internet for messaging, social media and watching videos. Smartphone and tablet can do this just fine. In fact poor Brazilians just have a smartphone, many never even had a computer.
To get serious work done then you definitely need a laptop and if you're doing some professional work such as 3D, video or image editing then a desktop becomes relevant.

I mainly use excel for entertainment.
But it really doesn't require much from computer. I've never had problems with excel files on any computer.
