Latest Link fud debunked

There are a bunch of threads about Oasis Labs / Ekiden, a project led by Dawn Song (pic related).
The implication is that this is somehow a competitor to Chainlink.
The truth is quite the opposite: it actually HELPS Chainlink.

Here's the deal:
Dawn Song's project is exclusively about "trusted hardware enclaves" (aka "Trusted Execution Environments"). It has nothing to do with oracles.
Chainlink on the other hand is a decentralized oracle network.

Chainlink's white paper also talks quite a lot about trusted enclaves, but it is nowhere close to Chainlink's priority.

Also, Dawn Song is a co-director of IC3, which is a partner to Chainlink.
So if anything, Dawn Song's project complements Chainlink by further refining the trusted hardware aspect.

lol

You don't get it do you. This isn't about it actually being a chainlink competitor. They just want the price to go down so they are trying to get brainlets to sell because they are swing trading scum that got BTFO by a green dildo.

You will get no reasonable responses.

it's all over

Oh I get it.
I just love BTFO-ing desperate fudders.

>It solves the oracle problem
>Not related to ChainLink

Here's some proof for you, this is the Ekiden research paper:

ctrl+f 'oracle': a single result.

>this bad news is actually good for bitcoin, reddit!

lmao you have no idea what oracles are, or what Ekiden does.
