How do you keep the card order of each individual deck in the new merged deck? Both original decks are ordered by the time the cards were added. The new merged deck is ordered differently. What do.

One more anki related question. When I try to import a deck, which was already studied partially, the new imported deck always starts at the cards, which were not studied yet. Can I somehow import a deck that starts from the scratch? With correct card order (ordered by time added?).
One would think anki would be easier to use, huh.

Is a production deck for vocab worth it? I've been focusing on learning to read kanji and understand the English meaning, but I struggle to remember how to actually say the word. Anyone gotten any benefit from a English to kana reading cards? Does it help with recalling the words and recognising them in speech?
No shitty anki deck will ever beat reading COMPELLING CONTENT
The ideal card: Word with Kanji / Okurigana, back: whole word in hiragana and a definition that is either in English or in Japanese.
Focus on reading the word and understand it's meaning.
I think this might be what you were saying with "understand the English meaning" but not sure. Going English to Japanese is not recommended and you should not translate from English to Japanese to say something as much as you can instead focus on reproducing structures youve seen in Japanese somewhere.
