They tried to pretend Trump's victory was a Russian plot, but there are too many populist candidates winning in too many countries to keep up that narrative, so they've advanced to the stage of actively censoring the opposition.

Guns have fuck all to do with it, they're merely a symbol of something the Cathedral can't control, which the Cathedral hates, and so it wants to restrict them out of principle. The goal isn't to regulate guns, the goal is to micromanage every aspect of civilians' lives and strip them of even the slightest hope that they might have sovereign control over their own actions and lives.

While America is indeed a decaying shithole with an extremely weird obsession with race, this is actually just because of big advertisers holding google on a fucking leash and forcing them to have "family-friendly" content where their ads can be played.

America isn't declining because of guns. It is simply finding it much harder to produce profits while also maintaining domestic tranquility. Also the rise of China and Russia has thwarted many of our plans for the world which certainly isn't helping our future outlook either.

Advertisising companies are controlled by corporate boomers. As you mention, from youtube's perspective it would beneficial to allow as much content as possible, but the advertisers are becoming increasingly zealous with this sort of thing.
