your money implies you pay taxes you fucking neet
Cooper Martinez
We have had lots of UBI. It went to the rich and was called QE
Nathan Harris
"universal"
Caleb Ortiz
look I tried, but every shitcoin I bought crashed so what can do
Chase Baker
As soon as robots take all the McJobs. Then, we’ll either have to cull the herd or pay them UBI.
Joseph Ross
Probably never. The only way this could ever happen is if class antagonisms reach a fever pitch and the rich out of fear start throwing some scraps back to people to preserve and prolong the system. But that won’t happen at least not in the US anytime soon because there are too many bootlickers class traitors and temporarily embarrassed millionaires
Jayden Lewis
Europe, sure. America? Never.
Owen Robinson
How exactly will you institute UBI in 1st world countries without facing an ONSLAUGHT of immigrants from the 3rd world?
You think current immigrant crisis in the EU is bad? Wait for the UBI. Billions of people in Africa/Asia live on 1-2 dollars/day and they will learn that some government is giving like $1500 a month just because you are alive. They will take that country by storm, even if only citizens will be eligible for gibs. People will want to get there to give birth and claim the money. You have no fucking idea how desperate these people are. They have nothing to lose.
If you know that will happen just read "The Camp of the Saints". The author predicted the shit that is happening in the EU right now. He knew it will happen back in 1970's when he wrote it.
UBI? Not fucking happening, my dudes.
Logan Smith
In the UWCA (United Wage Cucks of America) you're a long way away
In the based EUN (European Union of Neets) it will take 5-10 years
Gavin Morgan
mining on every single electronic device will be a form of UBI
Nathaniel Murphy
Canada and Europe: 10 to 15 years
United States: Never. This is the next Ottoman Empire in that it will slowly but inevitably collapse. Automation will kill America and the country will be filled with 300 million temporarily embarrassed millionaires in abject poverty who would rather die than vote for a politician who’d fight for universal basic income.
Nathaniel Martinez
realistically
rich European countries:25 years
USA:50 years
Camden Hill
We only need to solve ONE problem for a crypto based UBI to function. We need a way to prevent one person from having multiple identities / wallets.
Solve that and we have global UBI within a week.
Ryan Morgan
This is the truth. UBI supporters will die when SHTF.
Joshua Richardson
So are you saying if I survive 5 years as a neet, I'll be able to continue being a neet for the rest of my life?

I don't know. Maybe don't let them in? Close the borders? Like they are (mostly) now?

>How exactly will you institute UBI in 1st world countries without facing an ONSLAUGHT of immigrants from the 3rd world?
They'd need to be granted citizenship. It's not like they just automagically get it once they're inside the borders.
Brayden Anderson
UBI is a libertarian idea and not Marxist you retards
John Fisher
>Bernfags still believe the gubmint will give them gibs to sit around with their social science degrees
Dominic Perry
not that far off. it's inevitable due to automation.

When it looks like a federal UBI or right to work is coming the smart money will leave before the masses make leaving illegal.
Brandon Wright
because we haven't seen this kind of automation
I've read international planning for the next 30 years and its pretty dystopic if you're not rich or highly educated by then

They're literally the opposite, retard.

I was there too. I fucking hated the idea of UBI because it sounded like a communist ploy.
But then I read about ATOM and realized how necessary it is.

There's a sea between europe and africa and there's a few chokepoints any of them have to pass through. Intercept them and you're done.
Brayden Butler
>having to give some lazy good for nothing all my taxes
>”libertarian”
Cooper Adams
they are opposite. i think your confusing with liberals with libertarians.
Colton Sanders
no its not. jesus fuck. do you even know what libertarian means?
minimal government with the only government intervention being for things that 99%+ of the population agree on like private property laws and minimal taxes for critical infrastructure like roads, policemen, firemen etc. UBI is far from that.
Caleb Nguyen
this. UBI isn't a "neat idea", it's going to be absolutely necessary. since it's so compatible with the current world system I don't think anything else will fly
Jobs that will be almost gone by 2030:
+ All types of driving (even airplanes).
+ Cooking (not just burger flipping but restaurants too).
+ Phone-related (support/sales).
+ Repetitive stuff like cleaning floors or mowing lawns.
+ Jobs that are 90% compiling information (doctors, lawyers).
+ Jobs that can be done remotely (surgeon).
Thankfully I've got a lot of Bitcoin Cash (BCH) so I won't need to worry.
Evan Perez
you're legit retarded if you think all those jobs will be gone by 2030, that's in 12 years
do you realize how many manufacturing/production factories in North America today aren't even using modern equipment? Countless operations still using tech from 20-50+ years ago because they can't be bothered upgrading.
Justin Ross
You go to secretary of state/social security office. Give them your ID. Verify it is you. They assign you to that wallet. Done.
Christian Jones
>Jobs that will be almost gone by 2030:
>almost gone
that aside you're making the mistake to apply today and the past to the future. things are going to move faster and faster.

>Repetitive stuff like cleaning floors or mowing lawns.
Roomba gets its optical sensors clogged and does the "Circle Dance" and you expect ALL floor cleaning jobs to be automated? No fucking way it will happen except in a video game.
Noah Bell
>Like they are (mostly) now?
Don't be funny
That's what he said, you sperg. If not them, then their children. If each migrant has a child or two, then after 20 years those children are eligible for UBI.
As if that sea stopped anyone from coming into Europe or any other place. People don't fucking give a shit and they will greet immigrants with open arms if it means they can stay on the right side of society. This shit not only brings in immigrants, but bad people and human traffickers as well.

>move faster and faster
maybe a bit but not by 2030
for one, the technology isn't fully ready yet, much of this shit is still being built or tested. Once the tech is perfected, we still need a way to mass produce it, and then companies need to take the initiative to buy and implement it and that'll only happen if it's cost effective over a reasonable timeframe (as in if it takes 30 years to pay it off over just keeping humans employed using existing equipment, they won't do it)
Cutting edge companies will automate soon, but i suspect it'll be somewhere closer to 2080-2100 before we see widespread automation, probably not in our lifetime.
Caleb Carter
>implying the free market will not immediately raise the underlying prices of goods and securities to accommodate the new capital influx
Elijah Cruz
what about jobs going obsolete?
Carter Diaz
>Jobs that will be almost gone by 2030:
>almost gone
i'd rather say most of this tech is ready today, just held back by legislation or by minor but important kinks. or by internal bureaucracy/patent filings and so forth. once everything is in order and affordable (let's say companies make back their investment in 5 years) it'll be deployed before anyone can blink
Logan Watson
Things aren't going faster. R&D are become more costly while yielding less returns. The low-hanging fruits of technology has already been picked.
Noah Cox
> People will want to get there to give birth and claim the money.
Birthright citizenship is purely an american thing. Other countries dont automatically give citizenship to people born there, so no anchor babies.

By 2027 a normal $1000 dollar computer will be smarter than the average person. Just how highly skilled do you think you are exactly?

Link mainnet by the end of year, so for Jow Forums? By the end of year. Seriously, no need for state-financed UBI if sufficiently profitable microbusinesses (like running nodes and whatnot) are available to everyone. And combine that with falling prices due to automation, neighbourhood micromanufacturing from good 3d printing etc and it should be pretty close to 0 effort for everyone to have a great quality of life. Tfw Ancap achieves all the goals of Socialism without the coercive faggotry.
