Why does the world say the Iron Lady was a villain? Is it just corrupt union and Angie propaganda?

She had a problem with us Norferners, for some reason.
I like Maggie, but I think she bent the knee too much to the yanks when it came to economics, shipbuilders and steelworkers, a very crucial part of our empires economy, lost shit tons of money.
But she was a Great Leader, I'll give her that.
I'd piss on her grave if I was a brit desu
*kills your coal industry*
Not even Reagan could do that
>save
she fucking killed it while helping a few rich people get richer
*kill crypto-commies*
Based lady
I want to beat her face with a shovel.
LOL, she was the real deal...If Jeb had his way she would adorn our money
Always knew he was a Borg.
I HEARD she cut welfarebuxx etc, just what I heard from surfing the web. Brits are poorer than Americans realize
Personally I think you should pray for the dead regardless even if they were a villain
didn't she cause a housing crisis?
She was both our last hurrah and final downfall.
She effectively turned the Conservative Party into the most divided party in British Politics. Theres now like 50 different types of Conservative in this country.
>england got oil but are in debt
>instead of doing like Norway and nationalizing it they sell the rights to international companies
>this is how thatcher “saved England “
We have a trillion dollars now and it’s growing fast.
The world is right in this case, it is neither corruption nor propaganda
Also in addition to welfarebux issue women are more harshly judge than men are. Just a fact.
Actual sexism. How can Lefties even say they're on Women's side?
Good for Norway, you should share that money with the poor (aka Brits)
nasty witch
The last good Tory PM who cared for both the Empire and the working class was Churchill.
>this kills the argie
Bongs hate yanks unless they are official halfers..IE...Winston or Hayley Atwell
She started the financial deregulation that started an economic boom...based on private debt and getting UK into debt. Like reagan in the US.
Pic related, UK current account balance
Righties also judge women more harshly it goes deeper than politics.
actual pic related
Maybe if the do a hard brexit, then we would definitely establish closer economic ties.
Kind of unfair to hold against any post-1968 British PM that he or she did not care about the Empire.
hard brexit will not destroy tarrifs, you fool.
I meant both not one of the two.
A love of Empire is great, but to put the interests of the nation before the Empire is greater.
As a European federalist I hold Thatcher in high esteem. She was the main architect behind the creation of the single market after all.
Whats difference between hard brexit and soft brexit? Hard brexit = like Canada, soft brexit = like Vatican city?
>
>She had a problem with us Norferners
I had heard about how much she is hated by Northerners but wasn’t she against the UK’s membership into EU? Which is quite ironic because later on northern England came to be anti-EU as shown in the Brexit referendum
No, Thatcher was a die-hard Europhile.
utter mong
Because Thatcher brought Americanesque capitalism to these isles.
Britain has never been capitalist in the American sense. In the 19th Century our idealism was that Britain was always a traditional rooted society which is threatened by modern capitalism and state socialism, Hegel's ideals are very similar to Englands ideals from the 18th century to about the 1950s.
Hard brexit equals no deal, more independence while soft is being in the EEA which is basically eu without voting rights.
You can actually see her government (1979-1990) at work.
She ruined this economy with her absurd ideologically driven neoliberal agenda. She was also socially degenrate as fuck and liberalised abortion laws. She also built up muh EU bogeyman by using her (((friends))) who own the Tory media.
Absolutely abysmal.
The only thing Maggie did right was the Falklands War.
She had forewarning of that and chose not to act because she wanted the invasion to happen to galvanise Britian behind her.
>Tuk mi fuking milk
Hate her t b h killed the North instead of developing it like the Germans
What a politician says and what they actually do are two very different things.
She could've supported Enoch Powell and symbolically resigned in 1973, but did not. In fact 2 years later she was the face of the pro-EEC Vote Yes Campaign.
In her capacity as PM she was fervently pro-European.
Its funny because Labour was more eurosceptic and concerned for Britains economic future than SOME tories were. It just goes to show how much Parties have changed over the years.
Today there are people in the Tory party I like, and some I despise. Some people in the Labour party (or at least historical members) I hold in good memory, and again some I despise.
I don't exactly know who I shall vote for in the next election, but its a gamble considering the melting pot that is the tory ideology bag, could be a whig, could be a traditional tory, who bloody knows.
Which countries does it correspond to? Is Norway hard brexit or soft brexit or neither?
I'm assuming something like Canada or USA is hard brexit. Which is soft brexit?
