Perfect size for a state and dense so it's hard to get bored. Could be worse.
very annoying to drive through
the turnpike gas stations are nice for a stop
My hommmeee :)
we had to drive there on our way to new york city
from what i saw it was a very shitty place, sorry :/
also visited for a while the town that is next to Easton, PA (i don't remember the name) and it was nice i guess
Would love to visit one day. I live in California. You guys seem like a smaller version of us
>forests
>ocean access
>big city access
You guys can do so much within a few hours. And you have less rabid social marxists which is a plus
the northwestern counties are amo of my favorite parts of the country desu, Hunterdon and stuff
what happens in the part close to new york
I haven't been there but it's pretty urban and like a city but smaller, with a short train ride to New York.
cheaper version of brooklyn
you still need a car to get around so, super inconvenient
a lot of brown and black people
is there anything to do there? or anything interesting? i feel like it's just suburbs
NJ is famous for pork roll
In the northeastern part specifically? There's a lot to do I imagine considering how urban it is. I've been to the central part of NJ where it's more suburban and I found quite a bit to do there too so I imagine the northern part would have more or at least it seems like it.
Haven't had one but I want to try it. I've also heard that NJ pizza and bagels are actually better than NY? Is that true?
I'm from NJ and I disagree heartily
We make better breakfast sandwiches and grow better blueberries and tomatoes though
NJ resident here, no.
Interesting. Are the pizza and bagels at least good though?
every time.
No but I want to, it looks great.
There is a small town with my surname there because that is where my ancestor landed and lived in the 18th century. One day I plan to visit it even though it is probably just a farm or two, i will take it over by force
Used to hate living here until I went to college and realized how empty it felt living in the midwest
why would you go to the midwest for college and not NJ? which state?
The part of Jersey that you pass through going to NYC (or vice versa) is the industrial area, that's why it looks like such a dirty dump.
New York with a funny accent.
