My dad is Australian and my mum is French. I grew up in a French community in Australia with mostly French friends. I also learnt both languages at the same time, mostly learning French at school.
This upbringing did kinda give me identity issues that I still have. Not sure what I really consider myself so I always say I am both.
Funnily enough French people assume I am french. A lot of Australians think I'm Australian but I've had people ask me where I'm from which feels weird since I grew up here.

I worked with a kid that was half dutch and half american, maybe 19 or 20 years old, dont remember which parent was what but he had both citizenships. He said he grew up in Belgium though and his family seemed rich based on facebook and he also lived and worked in singapore for a bit.
