Just landed after visiting Athens actually, stayed in Glyfada, no doubt that the suburbs around Athens are far better than the city itself, excluding the obvious famous sites.

In my experience they were all very kind and helpful, almost to the point that it felt kind of phony. (Not in most cases tho), they just appreciate it that you are willing to spend time and money in Greece I guess
