Black except for espresso drinks. Making my own I go back and forth between a fr*nch press, moka pot and chemex. Cold brew reconstituted with milk and homemade brown sugar syrup is good occasionally when I can be bothered to make it

Also you lazy niggers stop buying dark roasts, stop buying preground, stop using coffee machines, stop using boiling water (boil and leaving it out for 30-60 seconds before use is fine) and buy a decent burr grinder (which should only be used right before brewing). It's an approximation of 'normal' coffee but with espresso, Americans didn't come up with (iirc Italians named it after us since we were the most known for drinking 'normal' coffee) and it was never intended as a replacement
