Welcome to /extraflags/, a lovely spin-off of /flag/ except its a general for users with extra flags to discuss flags, extra flags, and autistic activities while funposting. don't have extra flags? get extra flags :^)
>What are extra flags? Extra Flags is an open-source and non-malicious plugin that adds regional flags, like states and provinces, to the already existing national flags on Jow Forums, Jow Forums, /sp/, and Jow Forums, by storing users' post number along with the selected regional flags, and retrieving it from a database when a thread is loaded. You can add your region's flag by requesting it on the GitHub page.
Hijacking the first post to say: If any portugese user reads this, could you try and explain some of your heraldic laws to me? Like what colors to use in the gyronny for places with city rights
Do you still live with your grandparents? Not judging, just interested Yeah, that tradition of not brushing your teeth continues to this day in the Netherlands. In the Biblebelt, children are basically told not to brush their teeth and let them rot so that they can get a full set of dentures at 16. Working as a dentist in Prot country must be a real pork barrel
David Morris
When you look on the wiki, Portuguese flags are square as well. I was gonna ask Setubal about this next time he shows up but Portugal might be like Sweden. Not like anyone else cares as evidenced by yesterday, but I'm at least throwing it out there.
Carter Thomas
Yes.
Ryan Morales
my point is more for the CoA that dont have flags because I know based on my Google translated portugese reading that every CoA have a related color for their flag and stuff but I dont know where to find that kinda stuff
Brody Smith
Gavin Cruz
Yeah Italy is the same way I think with the banners of the municipalities. I'm not sure how you would do that, maybe Portuguese wikipedia would have more pics of the flags or whatever.
Gabriel Hernandez
it has most 3rd level stuff but not all of the freguesias
What's the reasoning behind that anyway? I was never told why.
Also my grandma visited the Netherlands a while back and was told she sounded like she got out of a time machine due to her only knowing old dutch lol
Noah Morales
I didn't know they still had conservative parts of the Netherlands. I thought the whole of developed Europe was the way we view Europe over here now. Like Sweden or the UK.
Alexander Sanders
youtube.com/watch?v=OeC1yAaWG34 its "Christian-Conservative", its a small minority who just vote christian democrats and dont always vaccinate
Anthony Price
>its "Christian-Conservative", its a small minority who just vote christian democrats and dont always vaccinate >are fundamentalist protestants >refuse to vote for populist parties lol sounds like our evangelicals. Do they have a boner for Israel too?
Eli Brown
I don't actually know, bible belt doesn't come even close to where I live my day-to-day
Michael James
Yeah, if she grew up speaking the already archaic American Dutch dialect, I can imagine that she'd make quite an interesting impression. As for the reason why the Prot conservatives don't brush their teeth, no clue. Can't find any information on it online, but it's most likely the result of a hyper strict interpretation of the Bible ("there's no mention of anybody brushing their teeth in Judea, so we shouldn't either") or because they're skinflints who see not having to take care of your teeth as a good investment.
Jayden Rivera
We have conservative parts, though
Eli Moore
Hudson Lopez
Test test Hoe is 't leven in Alkmaar, ben er volgens mij nooit geweest
Eli Wright
Hardly. I follow SD pretty closely and they've only seemed to pop up in areas next to large cities, presumably with large migrant populations. Sapmis vote straight social dem, and (i forgot the name of them) that blue cuckservative party isn't conservative. Even the Sweden Democrats are far-left by American standards. Sweden is brutally liberal. All the classic Dutch in America are gone unfortunately.
Connor Gray
Pic related. SD enclaves are beginning to pop up in Gothenburg now too; they've pretty much taken over the outskirts and surrounding rural areas of Malmo. Idk why they haven't taken hold in Stockholm yet, maybe there are too many migrants there now.
Also I can't believe your country still has open ballots. We abolished those in the 1800's here. I mean, given how the media slanders SD and Antifa has a presence, it's a wonder how SD got only 17% in the first place. I bet if you guys had secret ballots maybe more people would have voted yellow as opposed to blue.
Lucas Fisher
Dylan Foster
It's like English, but German, but English. I've never seen it written prior to Jow Forums.
James Russell
Stockholm is less migrant dense than both Malmö and Gothenburg and they're more spaced out because of the sheer size of the county. As you can see, eastern skåne is our conservative region and you could argue that the socdems in the north are conservative as well, just ignorant to the problems. I have a story. I recently voted in the EU elections where there were 2 stands for ballots. One contained all the established parties and the other one was almost completely empty and had 2 newcomer parties. They were obviously strategically placed there. The venue was also empty, me being the only voter. When I went to pick out one of the fringe party ballots, I could just feel how i was being stared at.
Austin Lee
Not surprised, it's only used by about 21 mil Dutch and "Flemish". Funnily enough, Afrikaans has a very Elvish quality to me.
Nolan Gutierrez
>The venue was also empty, me being the only voter. When I went to pick out one of the fringe party ballots, I could just feel how i was being stared at. Exactly. Open ballots is rife with voter suppression, and I personally don't think a lot of Swedes voted for who they actually wanted to. I can totally see SD voters voting for the Moderate Party just because they didn't want to be ambushed by leftists outside of the polling station. Were the 2 newcomer parties AfS and NRM? Because it wouldn't surprise me if they were lol
Jaxson Morris
I mean, now that I think about it I'm sure we import some Dutch products and I'm sure I might've encountered it on packaging but maybe never noticed it before.
Dominic Taylor
Can everybody see who you are voting for, i.e. do you not have any privacy?
Isaac Lewis
NMR isn't even a party and whoever votes for them is a legit brainlet. The two parties are AfS and MED.
Do the Lefties really have that much hold over the countryside?
Austin Wilson
Charles King
So there's this tactic where people go to the stands where the ballots are and pick out one from several parties so that when you walk to the "booth", people don't really see what party yo're gonna vote for.
Luis Stewart
They're not "leftists", they just not active politically and vote for whatever they parents and grandparents voted for. They vote for the sosdems of the past, so to say.
Nolan Ross
Sweden has been voting for that red party, the Social Democrats, for over 100 years now. Not once has another party unseated them as the largest in the Riksdag. In fact, this 2018 election was the worst performance for the SocDems in decades, even though the populist SD tremendously underperformed. >NMR isn't even a party and whoever votes for them is a legit brainlet. I mean given they have no shot of winning yeah. Swedes should focus on getting SD in as a kingmaker instead of just outright voting for meme parties. Still super dumb. I'm surprised they didn't put the SD ballots with the AfS and MED ones.
Caleb Bailey
>I mean given they have no shot of winning yeah. Swedes should focus on getting SD Not the reason for why you shouldn't vote for them. >I'm surprised they didn't put the SD ballots with the AfS and MED ones. SD isn't as taboo anymore with NMR helping out showing what actual nazis are.
Leo Hill
I wonder what open ballots would be like in America
Benjamin Lopez
WHat do you think of that "Angry Foreigner" YouTube channel? Is he generally accurate about describing the situation in Sweden?
Samuel Ward
I know nothing about Swede politics. Who are they and why shouldn't you vote for them?
Joseph Sullivan
He's ok. Kinda suck at debating and is a massive edgelord, though. I highly recommend Henrik Jönsson. He's better at explaining subjects and Is more objective. youtube.com/channel/UCQmwkvc1eVuIfxjIq6JvWtg
Connor Bailey
Thanks, will check him out

Oh in the 1800's it was bad given that parties performed based on regions - for example Republicans held the north, and Democrats the South. After the Civil War in the Deep South the KKK would patrol polling stations to keep blacks from voting since they were gonna vote for the Republican, and Southern Whites voted as a block (just as they do today) for the Democrats. Naturally, for years the Southern states would go 80-90% Democrat while the north voted handily Republican, at least until immigrants came into cities and turned them Democrat. Also get extra/flags/ >SD >populist party with leftist policies except immigration, they are anti-immigration. This is considered "far-right" in Sweden >NRM Literal National Socialist organization which operates throughout Scandinavia. Is banned in Finland, and often holds rallies in cities pic related with riot shields and shit
Fringe pan-nordic, anti-democratic, natsoc movement. A couple of hundreds of members. Their goal is to crash the democracy by any means nessesarry and creating an ethno state. I don't know If I remember this correctly, but they propagate voting for the greens just to speed up the migrant flow so that society will crumble and open up for being built up again. The assumption is that everyone would adopt their world view if something like that would happen, which obviously isn't the case. Fun fact, did you know that we weren't allowed to own our own phones until the mid 80s?
Leo Jones
> I don't know If I remember this correctly, but they propagate voting for the greens just to speed up the migrant flow so that society will crumble and open up for being built up again. It's called accelerationism, and it's not really a bad idea for their kind of ideology. They understand that as soon as migrants become a sizable amount of population whites will coalesce against them. The same thing happened in the South here; the most racist and ultraconservative whites are located in the areas where there are the most blacks (outside of cities of course). They understand that no one would ever vote for National Socialism, so the only way to get it implemented is to force a brutal decision; either live in a creole hellhole with a bunch of violent Africans or radicalize and rally behind national socialism. >The assumption is that everyone would adopt their world view if something like that would happen, which obviously isn't the case. In most cases they're right, the only issue is do whites get bred out of existence or become a tiny majority of the population before they finally syndicate? >Fun fact, did you know that we weren't allowed to own our own phones until the mid 80s? Not surprising, but then again Sweden was pretty much a socialist's paradise before the 1990's. Its new demographic crisis will definitely challenge how the country views itself, and how it expends privileges to its citizenry.
Colton Lopez
So basically they're the Jow Forums party
Jack White
Exactly. I mean, the Swedish media loves to portray milquetoast populist parties like SD as Nazis; but NRM is literally a National Socialist party. I think it got 2000 votes in the 2018 elections, or 0.03% of the population.
Andrew Myers
fuck off sonoma
Angel Gutierrez
I promise you, there wont be a natsoc uprising here even if it all crashed. We'd be AfS tier at most. NMR has already ruined it for themselves and their ideology by working with Russians behind the back and making fools of themselves. yes

I'm not sure whether I should create a new name, or go for the old name "Ephaestia". I read about some guy that created a Micronation in his back garden. Love it. Now I haven't read much about this stuff so I don't know what actually goes into it. I mean I don't live in Comino so I don't know if that's possible.
