i mean it is not like it is actually unpleasant, it's good in terms of what it sounds like, but for people who can speak portuguese and can learn the lyrics and realise what the singer is trying to say it just sounds disgusting. Normal euro portuguese accents are already very bad, when they try to make it sound poetic it sounds even worse. Portuguese when sung necessarily has to be open and melodic like BR portuguese. It's the same reason why british music doesn't sound particularly british. It becomes more open and ends up sounding more like american varities of english.
