I like to get high on opiates then pull my toenails off. Only do one at a time though or it makes walking a little uncomfortable. The skin under them is so tough now. The bulge of infected skin will dry out and detach itself eventually, no need to cut it or you will worsen things!
When the nail starts growing back put some cotton between the nail and flesh so it wont penetrate the skin.
Once it is grown again you will probably experience the problem again in the future, try lifting the side of the nail without cutting it off (hair pliers are the best tools for doing it) and the nail will stop growing in that direction.
Repeat every 3 months if it you have it as a genetic condition like me.
