The sun reaches it's peak. After friday every day will be a bit shorter until the darkness takes us in Scandinavia. If you live in Californa, Arizona, Florida it might not mmean anything to you but for us Scandinavians (and particularly Swedes) it is something to celebrate.

There is a village where is called スウェーデン村 Sweden village The house of this village were built Swedish company who have technologies of protection against cold weather. As they lived Swedish house, they knew about Swedish and Sweden, and they came to love Sweden. So the Japanese who live there decided to hold a Midsummer festival in 1985. They've been holding Midsummer since then They rise Swedish flag they love in that festival and they wear Swedish native costumes They are differ from Swedish, they are not beautiful very much, but they seem to enjoy their festival every year.

Yes. It's an old festivity here. Usually we only gather with friends/family. Eat and drink all night long since it usually is very bright even at night. But we don't lit any bonfires.
