How are you going to celebrate Midsummer tomorrow?

What are you going to eat?
Fresh potatoes.
Gubbröra.
Herring.
Cold smoked salmon.
Strawberries.

What are you going to drink?
Beer from all over Europe and Swedish flaggpunsch.

Tomorrow is our real national day. Everyone is celebrating Midsommar with their friends/family and not a singel nigger/kebab is invited.

Can you imagine being a pleb and not celebrate Sol Invictus?

Maybe Ill go out for once. Dont think I left my room expect for getting food and go on a walk

Why? That sounds dumb. Tomorrow is literally just Friday, just like every other day of the month

What? I don’t understand the point of your thread OP.

>Why? That sounds dumb. Tomorrow is literally just Friday, just like every other day of the month

The sun reaches it's peak. After friday every day will be a bit shorter until the darkness takes us in Scandinavia. If you live in Californa, Arizona, Florida it might not mmean anything to you but for us Scandinavians (and particularly Swedes) it is something to celebrate.

i'll get drunk with my father & brother on the family log cabin

Sweden has no culture

Midsummer? You mean The Night of Saint John. There will be bonfires and all.

What are you doing tomorrow when/if you're celebrating Midsummer?

Interesting. They don't celebrate Midsummer in Norway but instead St Hans. They also set fire to a lot of things.

The Norwegian celebrations are not as good as our since our demands a May pole, food and alcohol.

no, because i denounced my e*stern "european" culture

>May pole
Leaf pole or midsummer pole. It has nothing to do with the month of May.

There is a village where is called スウェーデン村 Sweden village
The house of this village were built Swedish company who have technologies of protection against cold weather.
As they lived Swedish house, they knew about Swedish and Sweden, and they came to love Sweden.
So the Japanese who live there decided to hold a Midsummer festival in 1985.
They've been holding Midsummer since then
They rise Swedish flag they love in that festival and they wear Swedish native costumes
They are differ from Swedish, they are not beautiful very much, but they seem to enjoy their festival every year.

Yes. It's an old festivity here. Usually we only gather with friends/family. Eat and drink all night long since it usually is very bright even at night. But we don't lit any bonfires.
