mormons leave you alone when you tell them to fuck off, jehovah's are shitstains

Christians overall

Mormons are creepy sand people who fought the government and didn't lose.

Had a JW couple stop by my door recently. The woman was hot but dumb af and would just shove bible verses in my face and not actually discuss them with me. Next time I'll answer the door shirtless and flexing

J-Dubs by far. At least Mormons make good neighbors

>Next time I'll answer the door shirtless and flexing
Seems like everyone I know is also doing this tactic nowadays. Appearently they won't come back if you do that

damn, I don't want her to go away. If anything, I want her to see my somewhat muscular dad bod and feel the pull of sin from her awkward looking tree-like husband. I'd talk to her about her religion then give her my number in front of her husband and tell her to call me to talk about meeting to talk about christ

both are retarded heretics, who cares

What's the difference between both ?

mormons are likes muslims but with jesus
jehovah's are like jews

The JW are weirder and more cult-like. The mainstream Mormons aren't really any worse than other Christfags tbqh.

Mormonism is the definition of a cult, though.
It was founded by one guy a couple of centuries ago who thought the real reason we all exist is because God had heaven-sex with his wife, that polygamy is a great idea and that everyone can become God if they try hard enough

I have this on my front door.

The funny thing: I'm an atheist and I don't believe in Jizzes lol

Eh JW are still far more cultish, I live in Utah and even with Mormons being the majority it’s not bad at all.

>solicitors HATE him
>find out how one man got all these annoying shills off his property with this one neat trick
>don't believe me?
>just watch the video...

Mormons basically run the whole state of Utah, it's like 70+ percent of the population and they control most of the state government. They are non trinitarian Christian's that heavily emphasize organic bonds, everyone is constantly involved in the church and they have a ton of children. They used to be polygamists a long time ago but only one sect in an isolated desert town does that anymore. They aren't allowed to drink coffee, tea, or any sort of alcohol. They are weird but kind of admirable, every Mormon I've met has been friendly and competent if a little condescending.

Jehovah's Witnesses are a millenarian (non trinitarian?) Christian sect. They basically believed the world was supposed to end in 1911 and all of their efforts since then have been finding ways to justify why that didn't happen. They almost never go to college and only work manual labor jobs, the stereotype of which is a window cleaner. They have very long meetings and constantly study the Bible, they don't shun technology like the Amish but tend to be more cloistered than Mormons. They heavily punish anyone who tries to leave their Church.

The two groups are often conflated because they both do door-to-door missionary work. When they are around 18-19, they get sent to random neighborhoods worldwide to try to get people to convert to their religion. Mormons always wear white dress shirts with ties and ride bikes around so they are easy to spot. There are more weird things about each religion but that pretty much sums it up

The Mormons are the more annoying branch (in the sense of being a minor nuisance), but they and their cult have integrated seamlessly into American society.

The JWs are the more really dangerous/harmful group in that they are true believers and reject blood transfusion and military service. Worse, like any culture, they reproduce their cultue in their children. Most human cultures do not "deserve" (in the normative sense which is distinct from the boring might-makes-right tautology) to be able to reproduce themselves, JWs among them (being raised JW is a form of child abuse, exactly the same as being raised Muslim, say, or being subjected to genital mutilation, male/female, it doesn't matter, it's all genital mutilation-in infancy).

For all that, I have one kind thing to say about the Jehovah's Witnesses. In their religion, they reject the doctrine of everlasting suffering in hell, and instead subscribe to the eschatology of annihilationism, in which damned souls are simply totally destroyed, and become nothing: an infinitely more humane and less shitty outlook on the afterlife. Being totally destroyed upon death, becoming nothing: sign me up.

"herp-derp but hell is real." Well, no. And even if it were, being condemned to it would be proof that I was right to reject god. But this is only an intellectual exercise, you just rot in the ground. At all events, the proper moral course is to reject god.

jw here have a policy where they wont talk to you first, just stand with their flyers
mormons are supposed to approach people with a non related ice breaker
you can keep both away by putting one of those jew charms on your front door

Based

>rejecting military service is dangerous

You're brainwashed, user.

JWs for sure
There's a sizable mormon population near me but it's kind of a pocket and they largely stick to themselves
JWs set up outside every metro station and lots of street corners in my city and try to talk to you as you walk by them on the way to work. Infinitely more annoying

>They used to be polygamists a long time ago but only one sect in an isolated desert town does that anymore

We have one in leafland too. It's called Bountiful and is in BC. It's even on street view (lol) and actually looks comfy.

>And even if it were, being condemned to it would be proof that I was right to reject god
>muh god is evil because bad thing happen
the absolute state of atheists

basado poster schizo que llama otras religiones sectas

Yes, that's right, and the reason why it's right is because omnibenevolence and omnipotence are (generally) attributed to the various flavors of the christian god/the god of the hebrews. We're not talking about your fucking dad (a finite being who is right to deny you candy at certain points), or the leader of a country (who can be argued to be doing the right thing for all by advocating an unpopular policy). We're talking about god.

What concern is it of mine that there is some grander scheme, if I should find myself in hell? Precisely none. Nor was there any reason for it-in this case, god is simply a tyrant, which makes it all that much more imperative that he be rejected.

Clearly you have a very superficial understanding of the nature of God. Although I don't particularly blame you, as you were raised in a godless society and that's just your way of interpreting it.
You see, God never meant for the human being to be a sinner. Therefore, in case you end up going to Hell, the fault is going to be not on God, who didn't accept you into Heaven, or even Satan, who's responsible for your eternal suffering. It's on you and only you, as you are the one responsible for your own acts. The fact that God even allows you to go to Hell in the first place is actually proof that He is indeed actually the opposite of a tyrant, and wants to you to live as freely as possible. Whether you use that freedom believe in Him, or sin and end up in Hell, is entirely up to you.
Also, there is no such thing as "the god of the Hebrews". There's only one true religion, with only one true God.

White pipo

>Your fault not God's
Surely it is God's fault since he knew what was going to happen beforehand and let it happen anyway condemning that guy to eternal suffering unnecessarily
