Surstromming is great though. It reminds me of a fish sauce they have in China where they layer fish, herbs, and salt in alternating layers and then let it ferment for a few months or even a year and then they put it on rice, it's the fucking bomb. Scandinavian food has the same tang/spice that Chinese food has, but French food is all about "MUH CULTURe" and not actual taste.
