Why do Europeans say we have shitty beer, when the most popular beers in Europe are shit like Heineken and Carlsberg?

this thread AGAIN?
it is exactly the same fucking thread as well. Some fucking meritard is going to come here and say that "hurr European beers have no taste durr"
>Carlsberg
one of the most cheapest beers here in Russia
Thanks for your input, now go away
A beer with "spit" in the title would remind me of backwash. Kinda gross
Nice display of ignorance, as expected of an American.
drink it
I am willing to bet money that we have better beer than Greece
highest rated beer on ratebeer.com is from kentucky
Based Denmark
American beer is fucking garbage though
Watery af
iowa sorry
ratebeer.com
even then what makes a beer ''good''
As per usual it's just an inferiority complex. They loathe the idea that a group of people can do so much better than them. If not for the US the western economy would have plummeted. Now that Europe has simply been along for the ride, since the 1940's, there is so little to celebrate. So they're compensating by praising what little they produce as being the best.
It's actually from Michigan but is called "Kentucky Breakfast Stout"
You understand though, America puts out a lot of good beer. It's a reaction to the days of when all we had was shitty adjunct lagers and shitty green bottle European pale lagers
>Why do Europeans say we have shitty beer
I dont, the West coast is great
The most popular beer is always a local beer of the respective Region. These obviously don't show up in ridiculous rankings like this because they are different for every region.
but your mass produced beers seems watery even though i never had one, and apparently you guys use corn and rice in brewing it and what is the whole deal with light beers and ice
It has terrible taste here
Oh wow, I thought it would be Founder's Kentucky Breakfast Stout which is highly acclaimed.
The beer snob websites are pretentious and I don't really trust them. If you want good beer reviews, look up Ronald Theriot on youtube.
> He compares big mainstream European brands with his muh microbrewery American brands
Sounds fair man
Light beers are for normies, Bud Light is very popular I guess since it's so inoffensive. Ice beers are strong, cheap beers that only crackheads buy.
>14 Anastasiou Asteroessa (Αναστασίου Αστερόεσσα)
nice try stupid fuck. Btw yeah nigger compare different kinds of beers, god you are retarded.
>europoor pretending to be special #2515215
yawn, crawl back to plebbit. this is a NORDGOLOID website ya europoor sissy
Budweiser has no corn, only barley, hops, and rice. Rice doesn't bother me, Budweiser is unironically not bad as far as regular beers go. It's also very manly, you won't see any swoyboys drink it.
It's the kneejerk reaction americans have. 95% of their population consume pure garbage and when you point that out they start to stammer about their micro chocolatiers or whatever.
>Heineken
not beer
>and Carlsberg
not beer
If our microbeer was bad, there would not be a European trend of copying American craft beer styles
>It's also very manly, you won't see any swoyboys drink it.
worry.jpg
I'm being 100% serious
>other europoors like it too, must be good
ROFLMAO
oh no no no no
>Americans think they can compete
cute
Why are you making this thread again? People said American craft beer is good last time
For me it's Jever and Guinness
Heineken and carlsberg are better than your commercial beers
For sheer diversity of flavour and styles you cannot beat British beer and that's a fact
>b-but muh copy-paste pilsners and lagers
Can't compare to the differences between an IPA and a porter or a bitter and a stout
>Bud Light
>grouping europe together
Now we are talking, you may not like it, but this is what peak performance beer looks like.
...
i want to drink bluebird bitter. can't find it here
What does Kirin taste like?
ill murder you vlad
It's the same as any other cheap lager
Belgium and Germany are our only competition
And Americans are any better? Most American bars don't even have proper craft beer. Just mass produced Budweiser owned shit like Blue Moon and Goose Island
well they can't stock something if the people that frequent the bar won't pay the price. theres more than enough specialty beer bars in every american city
Fuck off and dont even start talking about micro breweries.
If you need to ad flavour and herbs and sugar its not a beer you filthy fucktards
dark kozel is better
The Spencer ale is American
We make those too though
They usually have at least a few on rotation
>theres more than enough specialty beer bars in every american city
And you will find that to be the case in most of Europe as well with maybe the exception of Germany because muh autistic Reinheitsgebot
Because even the flattest, lukewarm-est Carlsberg is better than the sewer-brew acid reflux you NIGGERS OF HUMANITY call beer.
Now fuck off and die from diabetes while I crack open a Hansa Bayer or a Tucher Bajuvator Doppelbock.
Again, you can put any shit in the mix you want to make it a hipsterish fancy modern drink you are just not allowed to call that monstrosity a beer
Got a semi when I saw that picture
I never claimed otherwise. I would love to go to europe to visit breweries. i would like to visit omnipollo especially
Most beer I drink has nothing of the sort
You didn't invent them though, we're talking about styles that originated from an area
It wasn't as much directed towards you as it was for enlightening OP. Omnipollo has a gastropub (well mostly pizza) in Stockholm called Omnipollos Hatt, you should visit if you get the chance.
No, those were developed over 100s of years of brewing tradition. It only makes sense that people originating from that area would take the same styles with them to a new land
i will make it there eventually. thanks
>they didn't randomly pop into existence out of thin air so your point isn't valid
Cope more
>Gets so utterly BTFO he posts a pic of himself with a mask he found on leddit
imagine people our parents age when they were young talking about how their country had the best beer. They never thought their children would be able to have a direct international showdown about it.
It's hypocritical to say that Heineken and Carlsberg don't count when you're judging our beer based off Budweiser and Miller Lite
Somebody hasn't tried European microbreweries huh?!
This yank STILL having an autism attack?
I have, and they're great. But the US started the craft beer movement
>the US started the craft beer movement
germany started the crafter beer movement 10 centuries ago mate
source?
>European microbreweries
I think they're called abbies
I drank it time to time and bud is a gay beer, soft and tastes like water
Regular Bud has just as much flavor as a pale Euro lager
>But the US started the craft beer movement
Anyone who describes beer as a "movement" is an autistic sperg
Anyone who fails to recognize the craft beer trend is an autistic sperg
>Anyone who fails to recognize the craft beer trend is an autistic sperg
Why are Americans so obsessed about what Europeans think of them?
as long as it's cheap and gets you pissed it's good
How is that a cope? Are Euros really this mad that American beer is getting better so they're losing their sense of superiority?
No they didn't you mongoloid. Microbreweries have been around for decades. What you mean is America have shilled their shitty pale ales the hardest
This
Ballast Point is a fantastic brewery, quite possibly my favourite
Mocha Marlin is no longer imported to Finland though so AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I'm personally not. I love Europe but I do think that the US has a better selection of beer. Though, much of Europe also has a craft beer scene now.
What are some other Ballast Points that you like? I've had their Big Eye IPA and it was tasty but I drank 6 of them and got really drunk (7% alcohol)
>US has a better selection of beer
>craft beer
are you fucking mad, burger?
Craft beer it's for cucked soyboys and homosexual deviants.
>now
Victory at Sea is kinda similar to Mocha Marlin but like 50% more expensive. I'm not a big fan of IPAs but the Sculpin ones are very balanced and enjoyable. Sour Wench is also very nice. No other Ballast Point beers are available in Finland, though they are present at a beer fest in Helsinki in two weeks
Have you ever had Brooklyn beer? That's a local brewery that I like
Ballast Point makes a lot of other beers besides IPAs and Imperial Stouts that I would like to try
All beers taste the same to me
I recognize the brewery, I've had something from them, I think it was East IPA but it was probably pretty mediocre since I don't remember anything about it
>craft beer
>beer
HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA

Let's just say that what you guys call "craft beer" is standard in Europe. Aside from breweries being small and local, you generally label anything that's not your standard watered down corn lager as craft beer. These beer styles are just the different local specialties in Europe, from each respective town of origin. Go to a bar in Köln, order a beer, and you get Kölsch. Go to a bar in Berlin and order a beer, and you get some variety of Weißbier. Go to a bar in Ireland and order a pint, and you'll get a stout.
Go to a bar anywhere in the states and order a fucking "cold one" and you'll get some carbonated corn water, fraudulently labeled as a pilsner.
Based and common sense pilled
Maybe you folk should stop filling yourselves with sin juice and instead fill yourselves with the word of the Lord?
