Again this is something you see in the Germany on a daily basis, if you’re a student. Because every single „new“ university building looks like a WW2 Bunker (made out of Beton literally)
I have no idea why I guess it’s just cheaper that way. For the reference look up TU München university in Garching.

I hate it. Worst part is that they demolished a beautiful 1800's building called Villa Flora just to build the ugly library. Instead of placing the library somewhere else..

That's actually great if it's some kind of requalified harbor or industrial area, red bricks, iron and glass work very well and those shapes aren't awful at all.

Everytime I look at these kinds of buildings I think of the poor motherfuckers that have to build this pretentious bullshit. My brother works as a mason and he told me they once had to insert four humongous crystals into the cemented base because of some feng shui bullshit. Additionally they had to make sure the stairs were right handed and not left handed because "it would interrupt the flow of the DNA". Architects are the worst people on the planet.
