You can make plain yoghurt at home. If you have unskimmed (full cream) milk. You can probably find an online recipe for it too.

pretty sure you cant, but customs vary from country to country you might wanna call customs and ask whether you are allowed to carry luggage items with you on the plane, pretty sure they will say no, as luggage will make it hard for others to sit and you are gonna have to reserve a seat for the thing and then its gonna piss people off who will obviously go like I cant get a seat for myself and this cunt bought one for his luggage
