20% of my income goes into a savings account. I am building up my emergency fund, and the rest for traveling.
Priority goes to rent, utilities, groceries. I give myself a small allowance for eating out and alcohol.
I buy used clothing, cook in bulk, hypermile (method of driving), and other shit to save schekles
also for taxes - all of my businesses are DBAs under the same LLC so since they all go into the same bank account I do the tax together

It's kind of ironic for a programmer but ever since senior year of college whenever I talk to someone about personal stuff (non-academic/non-work) I start panicking and feeling a sense of impending doom. It's like what you might feel if you're in a car and you see a truck coming at you at 80 mph without any way to get out of the way. I even had to mute the "general" chat for my work because people kept talking about their kids and weekends.
But it doesn't happen if I talk to people in real life or over mail. Not that I'm very good at conversation in real life, I'm as autistic as most people here, it's just I don't get this impending doom sort of feeling.
