Zoomers are funny.

First, no one wants to watch you do anything. They want to watch boomers because zoomers compete with zoomers and not boomers. They want success to look forward to, not to be envious of by watching another popular zoomers.

Second, you guys threw us into the ego era. I haven't seen anyone else call it this but that is what it is. Every zoomer trying to be a twitch/youtube eceleb with instagram and all those imaginary Internet points.

I run a youtube channel, run a few websites, and launch apps. I mainly do business-facing stuff but when I target consumers I always put in an ego-feeding incentive of some sort.

Without hyperbole, probably 1/3rd of the people I kill in fortnite have either twitch or ttv in their name. zoomers can't comprehend simply enjoying a game without broadcasting to a non existent audience

Zoomers are unabashedly self promoting, but they seem to have a sense of self awareness about the whole thing. Zoomers are also kind of smart asses and can be funny unlike the humorless millennials so it's hard not to like the little faggots.

The best part is that most people stream now instead of make videos.

Keeping a level of energy to entertain for several hours is not possible for most people. Also being entertaining while concentrating is even more difficult.

With youtube you can voiceover and edit out the boring parts. It's amazing. I do more of mrbeast style videos now, but my gaming channel still gets daily subscribers even though I haven't uploaded to it in over a year. My twitch did OK but it was draining and a waste of time. Passive income from youtube is better imo.

Also you can self-advertise on r/videos and no one will care. Twitch is 100% about networking and you can't advertise anywhere without getting shit. Youtube is just about getting picked by their algo once, world-class clickbait, and some SEO if the video is niche enough. It's great.

late zoomer here. hate most zoomer things such as social media but I do enjoy mumble rap, best music when your music is pumping.

I am late 1995. I refuse to call myself a zoomer. I can't identify with zoomers. I never even played Fortnite, and dislike the average zoomer's taste in music. And I don't use Snapchat or Instagram.
