Are there more syrian/egyptian posters here or is it all the same two guys?
Are there more syrian/egyptian posters here or is it all the same two guys?
I think there are two egyptians and one syrian.
I am Syrian.
Reminder that Egyptians are not real Arabs.
بلد يتحدث العربية = البلد عربي
Are Irish people English? Paraguayans Native Americans? Are Brazilians Portuguese? didn't think so.
You speak Arabic. You follow an Arabic religion in which Arabic is regarded as the divine language. The whole world knows you as Arabs. You are Arabs.
No there are multiple Syrians.
The good one that posts a lot of anime and is basically the father figure of /levant/
and then there is the shitty Syrian posters (The Assyrian, the kurd and all the other garbage)
There are many egyptian posters but they are all shit. They are the shittiest in fact with no redeeming qualities. In part due to many of them being /egy/ migrants.
any people from an arabised culture and heritage are arabs. And that also doesn't mean they don't have a claim to their pre-arab history. and anyone that denies that needs violence up his bum.
English is a derivative of England which is a derivative of Angleland. You have to be an Angle, Saxon or Jute to be English.
It's a similar thing with Spanish and Portuguese.
Being an arab isn't about descent. Every one accepts Yemenites as the original arabs even though they are also arabiesed lmao. btw you and me are also descendant of arabised tribes.
>le ebin Qahtan and Adnan mythos
kek
>You follow an Arabic religion in which Arabic is regarded as the divine language
no language is divine.
the prophet spoke arabic.
the messiah speaks jewish palestinian aramaic
moses spoke egyptian/hebrew
>any people from an arabised culture and heritage are arabs
Not true. You’re only Arab if you are from one of the ethnic groups in the Arabian peninsula. The whole
>EVERYONE IS ARAB IF THEY SPEAK ARABIC. O.K?
is just bullshit started by Islam to get more African, Turkic, Desi, and European followers.
that's how ethnicities are made.
dozens of german ethnicities merged to make german
three or four english ethnicities merged to make english
et cetera.
your logic is wrong because it assumes that arabs originate from the arabian peninsula. Which is a false popular myth.
Arabs originate from northern hejaz / southern levant area. And from the 1st to 3rd century there was a major process of arabization of the semetic region. And after the arab conquest there was another such process.
"Arabians" weren't originally arabs. Until they arabised. Same thing with everyone else like Egyptians.
Being an arab isn't about blood. But heritage and culture.
>any people from an arabised culture and heritage are arabs
Like Pakistanis, Malaysians, and Malians, right?
>Every one accepts Yemenites as the original arabs even though they are also arabiesed lmao
That just shows that that claim is wrong.
??
You wouldn’t be able to distinguish a northern and southern German. They have very similar phenotypes and almost identical DNA, in fact Germans and French in general are almost indistinguishable on 23andMe, ancestry dna, etc.
But there’s very much so a difference between a Saudi and Sudanese.
>You wouldn’t be able to distinguish a northern and southern German.
not true.
There’s a difference between modern day khaleejis and modern day Levantines.
Like I said, any group inhabiting the Arabian peninsula.
No you wouldn’t, not in 2019.
muslim isn't the same as arab. you clearly don't know what you're talking about pajeet. no point in talking to you. just a waste of time
except the original arabs that started arabising everyone were not even from the peninsula
Ofcourse, they're Egyptians. Just speaking arabic doesn't make you an Arab. People from the Levantine aren't really Arabs
It was khaleejis who spread Islam to Africa. Not berbers or Levantines.
This.
I’m
Syrian, not Arab. Take note, Emirati user.
the first arabisation didn't happen in the islamic era and back then there was no such thing as khaleeji.
Khaleeji is something that existed only since in 1981.
yes i'm taking note and i've been doing so since Nassim. Spergs will be spergs
No
>The earliest and most significant instance of "Arabization" was the first Muslim conquests of Muhammad and the subsequent Rashidun and Umayyad Caliphates.
The Umayyad and Rashidun dynasty originated in the Arabian peninsula. It started with the Quraysh tribe, located in modern day Saudi.
So let me guess, are former French colonies ethnically French because the locals now speak French and practice French customs?
Gulf Arabs spread Islam first and tried to convince Africans that they can be Arab too if they practice Islam. It was a clever trick.
That doesn’t mean they’re Arab.
I just checked your green text and it's from wekipedia. And the part you green texted had no source on Wikipedia.
But right below that there was a section about Yemen becoming arabised. Yet Yemen is believed to be the first arab land and the origin of all arabs by the early caliphates and even the Umayyad caliphates itself. And btw there was no such thing as "gulf arab" back then. The gulf itself had to go through it's own process of arabization
Although obviously the arabization that happened after the arab conquest was bigger and thus more significant
barely any of the french colonies speak french as a native language
btw by your logic even arabians aren't arabs
there is no arab genetic marker anyway so it's not like the first arabs were some sort of unique race
and I know that I shouldn't talk to you anymore when you think history runs on tricks. The process of both the spread of islam and arabization are way more complicated than that.
Every time you type something I know more that you don't actually know much about history and what you know instead is just popular beliefs
This is the last thing I'll tell you. The original arabs were from pic related. Particularly this area between north Hejaz and south Levant (the Tabuk-Petra area). This was their land and they lived no where else at that point. Not Yemen Not Oman Not Najd and definitely not along the gulf. It is only by the 1st AD that other people started adopting arabic as their language. It is then that it was the first time people withing the interior of the peninsula started adopting arabic as their languages.
You are trying way too hard to be considered when you're probably not. Be proud of your own ethnicity.
My mother is Christian, blonde hair and blue eyes from Damascus. By your logic, she's Arab. Ridiculous.
And you keep referring to ancient history. I'm talking about now, in 2019. There's a genetic difference between someone from Saudi and someone from the Levant, or Tunisia. Modern day Arabians are the swarthy brown people from the Arabian peninsula.
Egyptians don't exist lol, everyone knows that
Who cares bro, there is only one race after all, the human race.
You bedouin monkeys are not part of it tho :)
no what I was trying to say is that being arab is not about genetics but about being from an arabised culture. As simple as that. Being an arab isn't about genetics. Although once the Qahtan and Adnan autisim was invented in the islamic era some started to attribute their tribes to some sort of lost arab lineage that keeps going back all the way to Yemen the supposed home of the real arabs.
I was also saying that there is pre-arab history that people are entitled to.
I don't believe all arabs are the same. I believe there are different arab cultures. And from my view they roughly look like something like pic related but not exactly like it (ignore the non arabs in the map north to Al Sham and Iraq and the non arabs on the other side of the gulf).
Different arabs from different regions have different history, minorities and identities too. I don't believe all arabs are the same and I don't see my self as the same as arabs from say, Saudi Arabia or Oman.
Are you saying blond hair blue eyed christians can't be arabs?
Yes I am saying that
