Pretty much. HR-people are usually not even uni educated and are still trying to act important and apply whatever they were taught during their studies, but IT-branch is generally really laid back. Yes there is free beer, but we get our shit done in time and there is no useless employee meet-ups, and every day is pretty much like a ''casual friday'' (unless you're working with customers, ofc). Rather than trying to force some office footy, we're encouraged to spend time with friends and family, so short fridays and slow mondays. Love it.
