Our capital is being gentrified. This is what it looks like right now.
Before there used to be brazil-tier favella's, but now it's slowly turning into a very nice urban area. They already finished like 3 buildings.
Everyone in Serbia opposes this. Everyone's an idiot. How could you not want this? It's literally in the middle of the city, it used to look disgusting before.

It has favorable legislation, relatively good IT education, low labor costs (it's still a poor as fuck country, remember) and on top of it all it's still European. That makes it a safe bet compared to outsourcing IT to poo in loos who want bobs and vagene.

Because people who used to live in those slums got inhumane treatment, they were kicked out of their houses without any permit.
At least that's what I heard, I myself have no opinion.
