In Japan normal cartoons are called anime too. It's just that retarded westerners want to justify their habit of watching cartoons by calling them anime. You know when somebody asks them why they are watching cartoons, they can say that they are not cartoons but anime. But at the end of the day, both are the same fucking thing

It’s weird to me that you say that since personally I (and a few folk that I know) call refer to anime/manga as japanese cartoons/comics when talking to normalfags. I feel that since everyone is familiar with capeshit throwing manga under that banner makes it easier to talk to them about it.
