there might be a way, first try and find the google folder in app data and copy everything from there on a flash drive / avoid writing on the disk for now
then try and get scanner for deleted files

Assuming you've had that instance of the browser open for >6 hours, it will have a cached state on your HDD, it's a stability issue to remove data from the RAM into a ROM storage when it's not been used in a while.
