oh no oh no oh no
How do you know what a kg is without a scale
How do you know what a pound is without a scale?
A pound is the weight where something has some amount of force when holding it less than a pound it is fairly light weight and little to no resistance.
The kg was made just 2.2 lbs for a reason
Yeah sounds retarded.
>dKg
Really?
My size is 0.184 cKm
About time.
We were learning the metric system back in 2003 when I was in elementary school. The rest of the country learned it via drugs.
That's even worse than defining your temperature scale by the freezing point of brine and an incorrect approximation of the human body temperature.
>50dkg
Hold up.
60F is termperate
90F is hot
32F is cold and freezes water
0F is super cold
fake news
you do realize you can still do those kind of guesses with the metric system right
Americans are literal children
>guess weight
>divide by 2.2 to get kg.
Crazy Spaniard, that's just extra work.
Geniouses
You can't even fucking spell "temperate".
flat plain, big brain
But these make no sense, 30 degrees is superhot and 20 is temperate. 90 degrees is sauna temperatures. Pfft imperial system....
Have you never heard of the famous US midtermperate elections?
based american in holiday
who the fuck uses dekagrams
>muh checks and balances
32 being low like, pffftt, do you even think american??
I bet your mum is 32 stones and that's not low boy
Had a chuckle.
It's way worse than that, it's a... decikilogram...
Countries that have landed on the moon using the metric system: 0
Countries that have landed on Mars not using Europoor shit: 1
stay mad earth cucks
NASA computers actually converted yokel input to metric for calculations and then converted the output back to yokel for your astronauts to understand.
Can't wait for Americans to start measuring height in decimetres and weight in decikilograms.
You do realize the standard system used for calculations in the field of physics and say, astronomy, are measured using the metric system right ? You big fucking retard
yokel wipe my ass lmao
sorry texan flag wannabe, i haven't seen your country even escape the atmosphere
>ass
arse*
Not to mention that probes have crashed in the past because a few idiots entered imperial values into metric computers.
im glad the aussie's are finally coming back after being blocked for all these months
The only ISPs which used an IP level block lifted them a while ago. We've been here the entire time for the most part.
I can't decide if this is bait, or if Americans are that simple minded. It's bait, it has to be, right guys? Please? Anyone?
Why don’t Americans use approximation these units:
>en.wikipedia.org
These values are absolute and set by God! When you die and go to heaven, woudl angels know what pound is? Of course not, they will probably use Planck units, except the precission will be absolute (God told them, he’s omniscient and thus not subjected to uncertainty principle)
But what if those stones are small pebbles
If it's on Jow Forums it's probably bait, but we really do think like that. We get our bait from real life experiences
I don't believe in jew mythology
different units
then you're a terrible example of an American
it's dk not dK dummy d is deci dk is deka
one stone is 1254 small pebbles
I'm calling AIPAC
Most Americans are atheist.
lmao good 1
>call your base unit kilosomething
Why? Base units should not have prefixes.
>0F is super cold
Hungarians use them in recipes for whatever insane reason.
>dkg
Do you enjoy being the reason we're made fun of?
1L water = 1kg
>dkg
Do Americans really.
everyone here uses dekagrams when buying meat for example, I though it was like this everywhere
we do, when measuring meat/hams, cheeses and other edible stuff.
Do Poles really
do you seriously not just use grams?
As expected of contry-grown bait!
metric is already taught in elementary school here though? Also
>50dkg
no.
we have a colloquial term for it "deko", so you just ask for 10 dekos of XYZ
What's the point of having prefixes if you're not going to fucking use them?
We use hectares, hectolitres too.
Isn't decagramme supposed to be written as "dag"?
dont worry, the other cunts are just afraid of big words like dekagramm
it is, ameridumbs are just stupid
>50dkg
wtf is a dkg
I don't know but USA should be written FAG
>What's the point of having prefixes if you're not going to fucking use them?
Mainly because a new prefixe every 10^3 or 10^-3 unit is usually enough
>Ozil
what about centimeters and dekameters? everyone uses them
This imageboard wouldn't be the same without Americans.
A Fuckhuge American Gram?
Like 10^10 teragrams or something?
>british education
I never heard someone using decameters outside of school
So they decided to use "deci-kilogram" in stead of "decagram" kek
>dekameters
>everyone uses them
like who?
>A pound is the weight where something has some amount of force when holding it
Powerful
millimeters
centimeters
meters
kilometers
There's no need for anything else.
>dekameters
not really? decimetres - yes, dekametres - no
>A pound is the weight where something has some amount of force when holding it
jesus fucking christ
I guess it's similar to deciliter. Kilogram is just too big a unit to make sense for cooking and grams are too small. Dekagrams or hectograms are ideal but we chose the former.
It must be an Eastern Euro thing.
>50dkg
>dekagrams
We use Hektogram for some edible stuff
No grams aren't too small, it doesn't hurt to say 50 , 100g or 500g instead of 5, 10 or 50.
As long as it's under 1000, it still makes sense in everyday life
Now that is just insanity.
put me in the screencap
Decagrams is one thing, decikilograms is another.
Americans lose once again
that's not up to you to decide though.
Damn, I really thought dkg was used all around the world lol. Turns out it's a H*ngarian meme.
flip flop
tik tok
walkie talkie
keepie uppie
BIG BANG
yes. they are
actually it would be like krautchan
Can’t wait to move from this country
euros be like yeah, this meat is about the same weight as taking the fixed numerical value of the Planck constant h to be 6.62607015×10−34 when expressed in the unit J⋅s, which is equal to kg⋅m2⋅s−1, where the metre and the second are defined in terms of c and ΔνCs.
A pound is defined in the US as the weight of four (4) meat patties of a McDonalds quarter-pounder burger
Brought to you by inventors of kilo-mili-Ampere batteries.
>10 dekos of XYZ
So why not one hectogram then?
