Here are my real thoughts that I'd only ever share here for fear of being labelled an edgelord:

The modern feminist movement is a joke, it is a product of women being women. The issues that they point out are real and legitimate, however the solution to these issues is invariably put on the shoulders of men to fix. Women do not care for the problems to be solved, what they want is for their value to be re-affirmed and to feel like they are equals.

What feminists fail to realize is that these issues are largely a product of women's weaknesses and not men's deliberate discrimination. If they sat down and looked at these problems as a man would, they would realize that it is up to women to protect themselves, to take initiative, to stand up and seize the power they ask for. Men do not come into privileged positions by chance, they do so by their cunning and greed. Until we raise women to assert themselves, they will continue to be preyed upon and these problems will continue.

Again, feminism does not concern itself with the real and actual empowerment of women, what modern feminism is concerned with is the PERCEPTION that women are equal.... women could be bought and sold as cattle and feminists would be happy so long as the women being bought and sold were treated with the same respect and care that is afforded to valuable property such as a luxury car.

I grew up assuming women were my equals but the older I get the less I believe it. I truly wonder whether women have the same capabilities as men when they constantly sabotage themselves and abandon their goals for transient emotion.
