they are low t wh*toids cucks
becaus theyre pussies
Because they are gay
They are very attractive fiscally and for the grand majority of this country the somewhat short range is not a problem at all on their daily drives. On top of that most of them are bought through business schemes which is possible because they have some sort of executive classification.
Only 20% of the population at best can afford them though. Average Dutchoid drives some Peugeot stationwagon from 2005
tldr: I like the noir dickus maximus
I'd imagine there are good tax incentives for electric vehicles as well desu
Sorry Bogdan no more 5th hand 3 series for you in the future.
Why so rude?
They were so good they are taking them away again. At some point buying a Tesla as a 'company car' was better than getting a car half it's price so suddenly all the rich assholes that normally abused our roads in 7 series would switch to Model S.
my father is barbecuing I have to fill my shitpost quote before 6
I'm not too well read into road tax and corporate tax but in order to make people buy EVs they cut almost any tax making them fiscally cheaper than the tiniest ecobox you can think of.
This was very good to stimulate the early sales and development of infrastructure for electric cars, but they also noticed they started missing out on future income and people were getting angry because people who drove high-end luxury cars like the Model S now paid less than wagecucks in Toyotas.
On top of that Tesla managed to dethrone BMW as the #1 collector of fines with over half the Teslas registered in the country managing to get fined within a year. Very quickly their image went from environmental friendly car for techies to rich asshole car.
because they were told they are good goys for thinking about the environment
>NOOOOO YOU HAVE TO POLLUTE THE ENVIRONMENT
The government in Oslo spending billions of oil export dollars to help the affluent buy an electric second car they wouldn’t otherwise want.
By dropping VAT, CO2 tax and weight tax a Tesla imported for $70k becomes cheaper than an Audi that cost $35k when it crossed the Norwegian border. Add in the lowered road tax and free passage through toll roads, free places on ferries and free parking, as well as the difference in the fuel price, such cars are 75 percent cheaper to operate.
Norway is spending about $2 billion each year on the subsidies.

tl;dr: it's a ponzi scheme and electric cars are garbage
where does electricity come from?
What is used to ship them across the globe?
What are brake dust and tyre particulates?
>and electric cars are garbage
How are they garbage?
go look at a Tesla then conpare it to a real car.
It looks like a blown up shoddily built chink toy
>where does electricity come from?
My solar panels
All those other things are present in other cars as well, I can't avoid them. But I can avoid using gas
So what if Norway prefers to have EVs driving around rather than combustion engines?
Literally all of these apply to combustion engine cars as well. And electricity can be generated in a green manner, unlike oil.
Crazy torque to drag your house trailer all around Europe.
Combustion cucks will never know the feels.
Compare them how? Looks? Fuel economy? Performance?
Go sit inside a Model S or drive one. They work. They are solid devices and can go toe to toe with BMW 5 series or Mercedes E-class.
Tesla is not even 20 years old and they make solid as fuck cars. Meanwhile all those Japanese brands in their first 40 years would make suicide copies of European cars.
>solar panels
lmfao retard.
because they're planned obsolescence shitboxes designed to break down in 5 years or less in case of Tesla.
Batteries are shit for energy storage and ICE cars are faster around any track because they're not pigfat smartphones. lrn2 physics.
>>solar panels
>lmfao retard.
Powers my home, powers my car. How am I retarded?
hahaha it's a poverty tier ikea mobile built by a snake oil salesman.
just look at this shit
>because they're planned obsolescence shitboxes
Go to /o/ all the incels there say the same about literally any car build in the last few years.
solar panels are probably the least efficient "renewable" tech.
Get a wind turbine.
What's wrong with it?
What shit? It's some ugly tablet and nothing else which can possibly bother you. And guess what even normal cars have ugly tablets nowadays, even your favorite weeb mobile
I am from /o/, friend.
All new cars are like this, yes.
If you want to flex on le poorfags, buy a porsche and not this kinder egg toy
Wind turbines are more expensive per/kwh desu
Also space is a problem
>it doesn't depend on your location, efficiency is just like that everywhere
>snake oil salesman.
How is it snake oil? He produces actual products, that actually work. Are you daft?
i actually like tesla interiors better than the current European car interiors. the tesla interior is minimalist and functional, clears a lot of clutter. you ever driven one? they are quite nice.
solar panels are garbage tech, why do you think le redditman Musk owns a solar panel company?
yeah retard, I love fumbling around a touchscreen pad while driving. It's not clutterit's bad industrial design.
God forbid physical buttons you can feel without killing yourself
It's very fucking obvious he's never been inside one.
I too believed the memes from /o/ until a friend let me drive his dad's Model S and I found a fully functional car with a design that doesn't bother me in any possible way. Meanwhile look at this shit here this is what people from /o/ would tell you to buy instead of a Tesla
>I love fumbling around a touchscreen pad while driving
Except that's going to happen on any MODERN car if you want to use GPS/Make phone call/play music/etc
Where are the airconds?
>le redditman
Oh, so this is the crux of your problem with it
Leddit
This gap
both of those have shit interiors, but the lexus is better
and it's a common complaint against every brand that puts too much shit on a touchscreen and thus we're seeing newer cars going back to buttons for the essentials
i've never had to 'fumble' with any controls with the touchscreen. my parents own one so i've driven and rode in one. they are nice for the price. well you are entitled to you opinion user, but i think tesla's interior design are the best at the moment. for the price, it's also quite fast.
>and thus we're seeing newer cars going back to buttons for the essentials
Really? Which type of cars? I imagine that they will just cram in a tablet for the poorfag models and offer buttons as an extra option
I don't get the point in arguing this except joy/monetary compensation of trolling. The numbers are available and public, you can run them and see if it is beneficial at your location to install a solar array or not.
20% efficiency from radiation energy to wall outlet is pretty decent.
Tell me what cars are going back to buttons
that's for the A/C and heat air flow?
Yes
>they are nice for the price.
I don't think you are fully aware of what their retail price is. They are very nice but don't be fooled the model S sells for more than the 5 series and E-class
Doesn't the model 3 end up being nearly $50k with all the shit you want included
Yes.
They failed at making a car for everyone like they promised. But I suppose 50k with all the lease constructions we have going on today is still accessible to middle class people who care enough to get one.
with rebates a model 3 is 46K CAD, a BMW 3 series is 52k.
>tfw drive a 2009 camry
I thought you were talking about the Model S.
Why shouldn't they?
>t. dumb Balkans monkey
because the company's name is a tribute to the inventor of electricity, the dutch nikolas van teslajn
I just find it strange how popular they are there. I guess they are a nation full of rich expats
Also theire temperatures rarely get below the freezing point. Electric cars are the ideal vehicle type for a small dense nation with good infrastructure and high GDP like the Netherlands.
>I guess they are a nation full of rich expats
They are mainly popular because we're a nation of tax frauds and EV's are stupidly interesting to buy using corporate lease bullshit constructions.
On top of that they just work over here. Dense country, small distances, a lot of infrastructure.
How can companies like Tesla exist when they never turn profits? I never understood that desu
People invest money in them because they believe they will make a lot of money one day and their shares will be worth much more than their investment.
Not everything needs to pay off within a year. If you give them $100 today and in 20 years a share is worth $2000 it's still a great investment.
People bank on Tesla becoming as big as Volkswagen or Ford one day. This is why they can operate on a loss.
They re-invest everything. Making a dollar revenue and turning it into profit costs you, but using it to build charging stations increases the value of the company without the greedy tax man taking his cut.
But if they are operating at a loss, how can they pay their day to day expenses? Like payroll, upkeep, etc?
That's exactly the questing that was answered in the post you quoted. Re-read it if you failed to comprehend.
From what I know they have a lot of money piled up from investors which they use to cover their expenses and losses. Also perhaps the Austrian is right too and they don't operate on a loss but rather don't make a profit because they use all their money for investments.
Tesla is too promising to fail so to say. They might have total disaster financial indicators, their products are real and all legislation and global trends are moving in their favor while their competition is utter shite.
But if they're operating at a loss every year, aren't they going to run out of money?
They can give out new stock or go bankrupt. Make a guess what investors will choose
They have capital reserves.
Again, that was answered in . Read . I don't want to re-post what wrote since the post is still there.
I don't think you know the answers yourself desu
I literally see a different one on my way to work every day. I live in a tiny ass city on the border with Belgium.
There's nothing complicated about Tesla as a company. They have a promising product and people have given them ridiculous amounts of money which they are expected to use in order to both develop and expand.
And in 10 years when all the cars, battery replacers, loading stations (both outdoors and at home) are Tesla, people hope to see their money back tenfold
keep in mind we live in the age of negative interest rates (first world)
there's an infinite supply of money coming from brainlet ""visionary""" investors who wants to be part of the next Ford, what's hard to understand?
Can you not see this post; ? Heres a screenshot of it just in case.
I would invest in Tesla too if I had any money.
Apple went from $12 in 2008 to $225 in 2018. And they more or less revolutionized our mobile devices (regardless of your opinion on them).
If Tesla manages to do the same with cars I think you're looking at value increases that shatter all else.
hmm yes i see
alankomaat
What are some good interior designs?
theyre dumb faggots
