>WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE UNIVERSE CAME OUT OF NOTHING? THAT’S NOT POSSIBLY THIS WAS CLEARLY ALL MADE BY A GOD THAT HAS ALWAYS EXISTED! THIS IS SO OBVIOUS! WHERE DID HE COME FROM? I JUST TOLD YOU THAT HE ALWAYS EXISTED LALALALALALALALLA I CAN’T HEAR YOU!
WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE UNIVERSE CAME OUT OF NOTHING...
>Why yes, I don't think our reason for being is just a freak accident but rather a part of a much grander design or dare I say plan.
>NONONONO THERE MUST BE MORE TO THIS I CAN’T FIND MEANING IN EXISTENCE ITSELF SO I’LL JUST MAKE SHIT UP AAAAAAH NOW THAT’S BETTER!
>belief
Hey OP, looks like you're having some difficulty keeping your thread up. Let me lend you a helping hand.
>NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO THERE HAS TO BE AN INHERENT MEANING TO LIFE I COULDN'T POSSIBLY MAKE MY OWN THERE HAS TO BE SOME ANTHROPOMORPHIC CREATOR MY LIFE WOULD BE MEANINGLESS WITHOUT ONE WITHOUT GOD THERE IS NO MORALITY
Our existence is solely based on a chain of coincidences.
God isn't made of material like the universe. God is bigger than time.
These threads are so funny to me, always makes me laugh. Hope they never go out of fashion
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE BIG BANG DEFIES THE LAWS OF PHYSICS STOP NONONO PLEASE LORD FORGIVE ME NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WHY AM I IN HELL
Start with Thomas Aquinas, potency-act distinction, necessary existant, time as a product of creation
God always existing makes sense but nothing existing and then the universe existing doesn't make sense. The existence of temporal things (things that have a beginning and end) implies an eternal thing (something that doesn't have a beginning nor an end). This is because temporal things would never start without an eternal thing and, if they did, they would end and we'd be left with nothing.
I'm sorry if people don't have the logical aptitude to see this but it's 100% true.
>Life is what happens when you accidentally leave milk open in the fridge.
Time is just an illusion you mong. What was before time is the same as asking what's north of North pole. It's not defined and thus not interesting.
>why yes, as humans we can only understand the world because we are capable of intelligent thought, meaning that the universe is based on intelligent thought, meaning that in order to create the universe one must understand the concepts of intelligence
Well if god is so perfect, why'd he even give us the ability to doubt him?
>LALALA ITS TO TEST OUR FAITH AGAINST SATAN
That doesn't make sense, why'd he make Satan then? Seems a big complicated honestly
>SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP
Another christian, rocked.
humans have free will
thanks for the 4.
Thanks for the timestamp 4 btw.
>Yes, I’m convinced we’re living in a simulation, how did you know?
>Ummm... guys? I think we're all living in a simulation. We're probably all just in an alien's supercomputer right now.
