I'm from a part of central Canada where about 10% of the population is Native. A lot of them live in reservations, which are big areas of land granted to them by the government. They tend to live more traditionally ob the reserves. I don't know a whole lot about what it's like there since only Natives can live there. Whenever you drive past the reserves there are all these shabby houses with really nice cars in front of them.
The natives in the cities normally work in the trades, not a lot of them in higher income professions. A decent amount of them are alcoholics or drug abusers. Their homelessness rate is also above average. This has a lot to do with the fact that they all had to go to these forced boarding schools up until like the fifties and it kind of fucked them up. The schools were mostly run by catholic priests and there was a lot of sexual abuse in them.

In the south, where most people are white, they only speak english and are very disconnected from their culture. The further north you go, the higher their percentage of the population gets. As such, the natives in northern Canada tend to speak their traditional languages and are more connected to their cultural roots. A lot of people in the far north still hunt for seals and stuff to survive and live pretty traditionally, it's kinda cool. Most of them still practice their traditional religions or are irreligious, with older folks being more religious than the younger folks. Very few of them are Christian.
They have special hunting rights so a lot of them hunt for their food.
Genetically speaking it can kind of vary. Most of the natives I see are from the Blackfoot tribe. They're all super tall, probably averaging around 185cm for guys. But most tribes are shorter.
All the native guys I knew as a kid were super into wrestling, but that might just be my experience. They often like to grow their hair out very long.
Their last names are all translated from their traditional languages to english. Their last names are always something like goodrider, yellowhorn, or hungrywold. I knew a guy whose last name was shootswithagun.
Most of them are pretty environmentalist and stereotypically tree-huggery.
