There's absolutely no evidence for this whatsoever. Most of the data we have on the Yamnaya, for instance, indicated that they were principally brown haired, brown eyed, and of middling skin complexion (i.e., light by global standards but likely darker than today's European mean).

There's also no archeological evidence in Britain of a "Celtic" invasion and if you read someone like Koch or Cunliffe, you will find that a number of modern Celticists have simply done away with the claim that the Celtic genesis is to be found in Hallstatt C, from whence it spread eastwards into Atlantic Europe, and are now arguing for the development of Celtic language and culture in situ in the Atlantic facade; a direct product, in other words, of Beaker culture.

The problem I have with your claim is that it necessarily implies that Celts were anything approaching a monolithic ethnic identity, which is wrong. Saying that the Irish or Scottish are associated with red hair by virtue of the comparatively high frequency of this feature among the Irish and Scottish is factually and statistically correct. Saying that the Celts are associated with red hair is not. The Silures were Celts, yet Tacitus and Jordanes wrote that they look like Iberians. The Caledonians were also Celts, and these two same authors wrote that they looked like Germans and noted their red hair. Meanwhile, Diodorus wrote that the Gauls were blond (whether naturally or due to wood ash).
