He(他), she(她) and it(它) are all Ta in spoken language, but in some listening exercises you get "wrong" answer if you used 她 instead of 他
only three day streak for now
Why would I do that? I already know English and that's all I need to know. Other languages are spoken by subhumans and the entire world will be forced to learn English eventually.
So that's why I was greeted in Spanish when I landed in Houston last year, those Mexicans were forced to speak English
Cope.
Your native language probably won't even exist in 100 years.
BTFO
how brown are you that they greeted you on spanish kek
Why would I care about 100 years in the future, I'll be dead
Because I can speak more than two languages while you can't even speak one?
I'm a blonde Germanic. But those Mexicans just couldn't speak English.
No the whole website fucking sucks I hope its creators will be gunned down
whats the point
nobody speaks italian here
Per Nonna
youtube.com
>qsq no genitori italiani a cucinare per te
Because it would be just as wrong if you used it like that irl.
她 and 他 are two different characters that mean different things, the fact that they are pronounced the same doesn't make them interchangeable.
I once went to a fancy Italian restaurant (we have a lot of Italians in the northeast) and the menu had way too many words in Italian. I didn't know what the fuck was what.
The waiter had a strong Brooklyn accent and he asked me "would you like it with gabagoobchelaazzispiano..." blah blah whatever the fuck
when I asked him what that is, he gave me the longest rude stare before finally explaining.
anyway, my point is, fuck italians and fuck anyone who doesn't speak English and doesn't have everything in English in their business. This is America. We speak English here.
Let's be fair.
They mean marginally different things and if you were actually speaking you'd still actively be using context to tease out which one it was cause remember: Mandarin is high context.
The language I'm learning isn't on Duolingo.
is it celtic ?
Tagalog
>tfw duolingo doesn't teach gothic
What language?
if you go to a fancy Italian restaurant wouldn't you atleast try to look up Italian food names? retard
I think what he was trying to do was uphold a reputation for the business not answer petty questions that you could google on your phone
>We speak English here.
Not anymore, retard.
shut the fuck up you fucking dago faggot
Duo leveling sucks.
I actually completed the Russian tree and sometimes use it irl.
My German is on the level where I can understand basic conversations.
As for French, I can't say jack shit in French.
I had a 417 day streak but I went on holiday and had no WiFi for two weeks so I lost it and had to start again.
Don't juggle multiple languages. Just focus on your English bud. It's fucking awful lmao.
no data plan on phone? no internet cafe in hotel?
>Don't juggle multiple languages. Just focus on your English bud. It's fucking awful lmao.
Anki and grammar book (or pdf) is better
Why yes, of course I have an 800+ streak, how could you tell?
Waiting for the Finngolian course tbqh. I can already sext in 4 languages so Indont care about Duolingo anymore.
I've had longer streaks in War Thunder than duolingo
Because you so clearly know if it's 她喝热茶 or 他喝热茶 if they say it.
I found duolingo to be garbage even in the starting areas so why even bother with it further
what do you use
Yes
plane tickets to move to a country where the language is spoken so I can get influenced by the speakers and the culture firsthand
No
For how long, and how do you fund that?
o-oh.
Polish
norwegian mixes bokmål and ny norsk
and its fucking annoying
>type word in ny norsk
>wrong, its this word in bokmål
>type the same word in bokmål
>wrong its the same word in ny nirsk
make up your mind!
Japanese
drop duolingo and follow djt guide retard
based
>Duolingo
Pleb tier
I was in the remote parts of Northern India. I didn't have any data signal on my phone because I didn't want to rack up large roaming charges. None of the hotels had WiFi and half the time we were staying in basic camps with minimal facilities.
Just checked, available as an app. Will try it.
