modding source engine games
popular enough to have a community

I think the average brazilian doens't read anything than the bible, but the younger generations read a lot more than the older ones

That's good to know , is Pablo coelho the reason for that ?

playing guitar. use to be vydia games, but I can't even play a games for an hour because I just get bored.

Hoarding different stones and gems. But I don't waste money to buy them, I search for them when I'm hiking and just walking my city's outskirts. Once I found a 6cm in diameter amethyst that was laying in the field
You know, different colours and shapes, that's what's really interesting for me.

Not really, its mostly because our public education sucked for the past generations and they weren't given inniciative to read or study at all, just memorize that they were told, dropping school early was pretty common. Many boomers talk about the Paulo Freire method and how he was a dirty commie, Freire was indeed a communist but his method is the reason younger brazilians deverloped an reading culture, it's fits with the brazilian mentality, every young brazilian today can name the most important writers of portuguese literature. If you go to a brazilian street and talk with the common people you will notice the younger ones, even with modern media alienation, are still more aware of the world they live in than old people. My father dropped school at the age of 8, he can't even point the country he lives in the world map and is really supertitious about everything, even if he have acess to literature today, he doens't read anything else than his bible because he is not used to reading.

Thank you for information

Backpacking, Long-Distance backpacking, hitchhiking, climbing
Backpacking is super popular, Long-Distance backpacking is relatively small, total community size is probably less than a million, though it is expanding fast, unfortunately hitchhiking is very rare in North America now since everyone is a massive pussy who is convinced it's dangerous and I'm just getting into climbing so I don't know fully how popular it is.

A friend recommended it to me some time ago but i haven't read it yet, maybe i check if they have it on my city's public library, it recently reopened from repairs, 3 months for changing a floor board because it had to be "historically accurate" lol.

the last thing writen by a brazilian i have read was "A ultima hora" a historical drama about an journalist during the secund vargas era, it was nice.

1. Flag
2. Old military firearms.
3. In the firearms world probably more now than it has been since the 1960s, but not with the general American populace.
