Structures built in 1300AD get in the way.

I actually like how this looks. It shows that you can preserve old things while being modern.

Slavic architecture.

In b4 Euros start defending their cuckery by saying "we don't need old stuff anyways"

The old stuff is actually preserved in the picture instead of being destroyed. Look at what you did to the world trade centers just to build somehting new. I really prefer this approach.

>The headquarters of the Romanian Architects Association, built on the ruins of the DirecÅĢia V Securitate
Commie building already ruined it before the place was destroyed.

>World trade center

German brains everyone

They somehow added insult to injury

Dude, most of your historic buildings where destroyed because niggers wanted more lanes in downtown so they could run faster with their pimped nigger cars.

Nothing wrong with that if done right. Problem is the current materials are massively different from those used a century ago.

It's gradual in America. All the buildings we destroy are less than 100 years old

Well if you compare the relative length of history it kinda fits in my oppinion. Something from the Napoleonic time to us is like an iphone 3g to you

This is the academy of music in Baltimore. They leveled it down because lat Americans needed big parking space to lunch on mc donalds.

same shit in the US. Maybe you should walk outside your cave some day.

Do Europeans really do this?

Sorry m8, sometimes i get angry for no reason.
It was not a personal insult.

Attached: 1sbgmdc4ckm31.jpg (960x700, 245K)

Yes, we Europeans really do this.

What year what it built and what year was it torn down?

Yeah but isn't a strong contrast better than something that "kinda" fits into the color scheme sometimes? It's just my personal opinion, but I really prefer that contrast to a slightly different saturation in the color, that tries to mimic something natural that just doesn't fully look right. But honestly it's just up to taste and I'm not trying to convince anyone here.

>Same shit
>Pic related perfectly preserved
What did he mean by this?

1875-1927
Again, sorry if i was rude to you. Some times the american flag trigger something inside me.

It's called progress, old brick buildings don't fit in a futuristic utopia (something that probably won't happen but you know what I mean).

Why are Edmontonians like this?

I really like the part on the left
But generally is right

This one was in brazil, but they teaar it down to make space for another big concrete box that could fit a lot of negroes.

Worth, say the jew while he rub his hands together.

There are some more eye sores in Bucharest that tried to copy that building.

At less is not plain poured concrete...

Not sure, but the "old" structure looks really cheap and out of harmony.

the better examples

Attached: Havenhuis.jpg (698x465, 75K)

it's an actual building from 1800something that got destroyed and repurposed multiple times
fuck ugly indeed though

Attached: Diamantbeurs-1280x622-1.jpg (1280x622, 767K)

Not all buildings from 1800 look nice. Today we see the nicer ones because the ugly ones got replaced over time.

*ahem*

Architects are just the most retarded people of all time. Thousand of years have proven that old, solid structures made of brick with matters and various in depth and texture, is bullshit and instead they should make giant fucking locks that aren't even that structurally stable, that have no fucking privacy, that looks like shit.

Fuck *rchitecs

Attached: FACHADE2-1280x853.jpg (1280x853, 113K)

There is no fucking way thats real

Actually acceptable

Check his flag.
Dutch people are born engineers.

It's in Antwerp and it's designed by Zaha Hadid.

Roman ruins are everywhere. we need to build new stuff too.

The location was... close. But the architect. oof, what a miss.

Nice, most places would not hesitate in tear down old building and grind the stone to make concrete...

seethe more boomer

Attached: SNG_opera_balet_ljubljana_arhitekti_atelier1-3-1920x900.jpg (1920x900, 307K)

We do it here too. It's alright if done properly and the original building is kept mostly intact. One particular project involved tearing down an old heritage warehouse and cataloguing each exterior brick, then they built it back up again exactly the same with a new structure. That just seems retarded to me.

Son, not every country is communist

Looks like a screenshot from Cloverfield

The picture was from Berln in 187* something.

Jesus

I love solid black buildings desu

who even leaves their house anyways?

>Ancient

The closest thing we have to ancient architecture are those Pueblo structures in the southwest. All our other "old" buildings are Spanish explorer missions built in the 1500s and English settle buildings from the early 1600s
