After 1945 all Germans were removed from here and the city was entirely rebuilt by people transported here in russian trains from Eastern territories of Poland stolen by soviets. Most of these imported Poles were intermixing with Ukrainians so they were perceived in Poland as worse class. Funny thing is that after 2015 around 20% of population of this city became Ukrainian again. Irony of history.
